Thanks for the input. For me I prefer lots of talking if it’s a puzzle game or a shorter game. Incredibly annoying where it’s just an intro and then they dip, where you have to slow the video speed down or play n pause a ton. Text walkthroughs are good (if written with lots of detail).
I’m thinking about doing commentary only in certain sections of what to do and where certain things are. The other ones didn’t have alot of talking. I put all collectibles in timestamps and all that jazz.
Yeah, for a puzzle game I’d also probably prefer that they err on the side of too much commentary. Either way I will pretty much always prefer a text walkthrough and only find a video one if the text walkthrough doesn’t explain a certain part well enough.
I also prefer text for most kind of games. A well written guide with the appropriate pictures and short game clips when needed is the best of both worlds.
If I do happen to watch a video-only WT I’d prefer more talk than not fwiw.
I have some interest in playing Avengers but I see it has problems unlocking achievements on Xbox Series X, but now I can see it’s a play anywhere title so I wonder whether the PC version will have the same issues or not. I guess will have to wait and see.
Yeah. Apparently the workaround is playing it on an Xbox One S but I don’t have that console anymore . I’ll probably just wait and see if they fix the achievements.
I have a feeling I will never complete all Diablo 2 achievements. All characters finishing the game on the highest “regular” difficulty? I know you can share gems for XP boosts and such but still. And that level 99 on permadeath mode, lolno.
New month already. Far Cry 6 will be my focus next week. Will probably get back into Wasteland 3 when the dlc hits too. Getting close to finally finishing Skyrim SE. I kind of want to start the game all over again. Hoping Anniversary Edition has a separate achievement list.
I’ve seen comments that this patch may have caused achievements to unlock sooner on Series consoles, some people have said they got the incredibly grindy hive achievements to progress by restarting the game.
I wouldn’t stress too much about the 4x XP event on Avengers, unless you really want to become overpowered early on (which only affects Skills, since what matters the most is the Power Level from the equipments) since you will need to grind for hours to get the Hive achievement
I got the level 50 achievement on September 10. I only completed the 1000g on September 30 when all my heroes were level 50 and power level 140.
It took me exactly 100 hours to get all the achievements, by the way. Not sure how much the game has changed since last year
Thanks, that’s some handy advice. I read that earlier this year they made the XP required higher, so that might be why TA completions show 120-150 for many now.
Oh, wow yeah that’s a lot more time than I want to spend in a game like that. How long is the campaign? Can you get a decent chunk of achievements in a reasonable time?
