According to TA commenters there’s an achievement in Diablo 2 that requires thousands of hours of grinding, with a permadeath character so it’s possible to lose all your progress if you make a mistake.

So who here will be going for that? :laughing:

I think the “big number” competition is on the way out, or at least it won’t be the same as it used to. With people able to rack up hundreds of thousands of GS with little effort other than opening up the wallet. Ratio and hard completions are the future. Or even, ya know, just playing games that you think are fun. :laughing:

Yeah, the inflation is ruining it a bit and I can’t be arsed to play shit games just for GS.

It does seem that way, because I’ve noticed the newer easy games don’t get as much players anymore. Some are around 500 to just over 1000 players, usually it’s like 5000.

It is way more rewarding and fun playing a game for 20 to 30 hours for 1K GS instead of 30 mins for 5K GS.

That’s a bit weird, but I guess if cloud is using Xbox Series consoles, then they only patched this into xbox one consoles? Maybe they thought it wasn’t worth it for XS because there’s alot less players. I’ve no idea how these things work.

I’m wondering if it was a patch oversight because the first game console commands achievement cheese doesn’t work on cloud or Series X|S.

On a different note, avoid the game Rise of Insanity if you play on Series X|S because the SSD loads the game too fast causing a game breaking crash where you won’t be able to proceed.

1000/1000 in Sable, took just under 20 hours. This game really resonated with me, I could not stop playing it!

Can I get in on this? Finished the 1000/1000 for Art of Rally Friday night. Trying to complete Skyrim dlc achievements before AE comes out with hopefully a new achievements list.

If you were watching a video walkthrough for a long game, would you prefer nonstop commentary or just commentary when it’s needed (like boss battles, explaining where to go,etc) :thinking:

I actually prefer more commentary, if I’m specifically watching a guide. I generally only use video walkthroughs for quick games (like 2 hours or less) though. If there are long stretches of the game where the guide maker has nothing to say, then they should just edit out those parts.

For games longer than a couple of hours I prefer following along with a text guide like the ones on TA.
