Hahaha there was a minor update today for Marvelâs Avengers, and as a result the last achievement bugged on me at 96%!
I have met the requirements already but the achievement wonât unlock.
Fucking hell.

Every GamerScore earned from now until Sunday, November 1, 2020 2:59 AM will count towards Octoberâs Ranking. Whoever earns the most GamerScore during the week will gain 100 points, the second place will gain 90 points, and so on. Then the Ranking will reset again and a new month will begin.
Every GamerScore earned until Monday, October 5, 2020 2:59 AM will also count towards Week 3âs Ranking. Whoever earns the most GamerScore during the month will gain 10 points, the second place will gain 9 points, and so on. Then the Ranking will reset again and a new week will begin.
Donât forget that this topic is first and foremost destined to talk about all your achievements and trophies, discuss completions and even try to gather people for a boosting session! The Ranking is just a side activity to take part in.

Completion #79: Marvelâs Avengers

I finally did it!
Marvelâs Avengers was one of the games I was the most looking forward to. I was so excited about this game that I grabbed the Deluxe Edition just to play a few days earlier. But oh boy, what a mistake it was.
The game is very good. I canât recommend it enough, specially if you are a fan of the superheroes from Marvel. I wouldnât have invested a hundred hours into it if I had not like the game. But at the same time the game should not have launched in the state it was. Not because it had a lot of bugs or stuff like that â it had, but nothing gamebreaking happened to me. But because we can clearly see it is an unfinished product.
The first big update went live a couple of weeks after launch and addressed over a thousand fixes â including balancing the enemies, as most of them could hit you a mile away and kill you instantly. Most of the time we are battling against enemy robots in the same environment. There are not enough real villains. It is clear that Crystal Dynamics has held a lot of content back to keep the post game interesting enough to keep people coming back: Hawkeye, Black Panther, Wakanda, another central hub, another faction⌠all of those stuff should have been at launch, but it is coming a month later to justify the post game.
On a side note: the game is worth for the campaign alone. Even if you are not interested in a Destiny-like game as a service, you should pick this up and play through the campaign. It is maybe 15-20 hours long and is really fantastic.
Achievements-wise, the game is pretty straight forward. It launched with over a dozen of bugged achievements that only started tracking after the first patch went live over a week later, which made me regret getting early access even more. You will get most of the achievements during the campaign. You will have to complete the endgame missions and grind some missions, including 50 Hives that will bore you to death. Donât worry too much about leveling up, since you can earn around 5 levels for each 20-minutes Hive run. Donât waste too much of your resources since you will need A LOT of them to level up your gear from power level 130 to 140.
And the best of all: I finished in game just in time for FIFA 21 that goes live tomorrow via EA Play

Sounds great mate definitely looking forward to playing this. By the way, how are FIFA achievements these days? I havenât played them this gen.
I donât think FIFA achievements are that bad if you play the game througout the year. Most of the achievements you can get in a few hours, but you will spend most of your time on Ultimate Team.
There are two very time consuming achievements: play 200 matches with a player in Ultimate Team and max your overall rating in Volta Football. The later is particularly annoying because you have to keep playing the same match for hours in order to keep upgrading your rating.
The most difficult achievement for me is to reach Division 4 in Ultimate Team. There are a lot of professional players and people who spend a lot of money in this mode, so it takes a bit of skill.
166 out of 60,012 tracked players on TA have completed the game.

Completion #80: Slayaway Camp: Butcherâs Cut

- Estimated Time: 2-3 hours
Slayaway Camp is a fun little puzzle game that is available with Games With Gold this month. The TrueAchievementâs walkthrough is fantastic and guides you through the game focusing on the quickest completion possible.
You donât need to play every level â just the last one from each chapter and a few other more to tackle a few of miscellaneous achievements. Just be sure to not spend any coins until the walkthrough tells you to and be prepared for a light grinding towards 666 kils (you get around 4 each 15 seconds).
