Yeah fuck this. I’m not worried about RGG, they will be just fine without him, after all he does not have as much influence as he once had and the team knows what they’re doing. However, Nagoshi has had such an important role in SEGA’s history as well as shaping the modern SEGA, that it would be extremely sad to see him go.
I wouldn’t worry about the RGG team.
Pretty much this
Nagoshi is just a business man nowdays and RGG can do well without him. It’s sad because he is a historical figure from sega.
It’s his decision so I’ll respect it. As long as he doesn’t take a bunch of staff with him then they should be ok.
When Itagaki left Team Ninja a number of staff went as well. I felt their projects afterwards lost quite a bit of creativity.
Ah, fuck it. I’m going with the Ultimate Edition. I don’t regret it, RGG games are definitely what I would call a $100 experience. This is the only time I will buy the priciest version for a game, RGG can have all my money.
Well, they sold me the Ultimate edition. Kaito DLC is a must.
I guess he will play like Kiryu, but less OP.
Well shit, now I want the ultimate edition. Hope I can buy that as an upgrade to my base pre-order.
10h of content is a a good length for a Yakuza DLC. Majima Saga from Kiwami 2 is about only 2 hours and it’s great.
This is what sold me on the Ultimate Edition. No way I’m missing out on this, especially when it’s around 10 hours of content. That’s some pretty bulky DLC.
Well, you can buy the DLC separately on launch if that answers your question. Or you could just cancel your pre-order and switch to the Ultimate Edition.
I’ll probably buy the dlc separately in spring 2022 cuz that’s a long time from now lol.
Yeah I was just a little concerned about not being able to buy the DLC a la carte. Some stuff in the news about anti-consumer stuff got to me I guess
So I’m at chapter 10 in Judgment. How far am I from the end credits ? Should I power through those last chapters before Lost Judgment ? I’m asking because I will be busy next week, so I’m counting on the weekend to put more hours in, hoping it will be enough.
That game is really long compared to other Yakuza games or maybe that’s because I took my time with this one. Idk. I’m at 30+ hours and that’s way longer than I expected. Story is great though. I’m really enjoying it.
I can’t wait to get right into Lost Judgment.
You’re not far from the end. Keep it up you’ll close it in time for the sequel I think.
Do you want to know how many chapters there are?
Hmm, I think you’ve got around 7 hours left. Or maybe 8. The game is 13 chapters in total. If you’re able to power through that much, I say go for it. The finale is awesome and you are not going to wanna miss it. And I’m with you, I am really excited for Lost Judgment.
Also, there’s a Japanese demo (but you can play it in English too) on PlayStation if you guys didn’t know. Here’s a pretty nice video highlighting the changes/additions made to the combat. There are quite a few improvements, it’s looking really good.
Oh wow ? That much left ? Okay, I think I can do it. I love the game, so I try to do all the side quests. Maybe, I’ll try to focus more on the main story from now on.
If I don’t start Lost Judgment day one, that’s not a big deal. But yeah, I’m really hyped about the new game.
How are your friendships looking? IMO the bonus boss isn’t really worth doing if you aren’t that kinda person, but there’s a cool side case if you’ve befriended everyone (remember that you can buy cheat items for Mahjong)
Better focus on the main arc if you don’t mind doing side stuff after completing the story.
