I finished Judgment and adored it. RGG can do no wrong.
Still chugging along through 5, what a big game. Iām on chapter 3 of part 3, so Harukaās plot is intersecting with Akiyamaās.
They played So Much More a lot that the song got stuck in my head lol.
I could tell that would happen so I started playing on mute
Right, there are a few ways we can do this.
All of them end with you going down and begging for mercy while giving me a plate of some sort.
So we can either get right to that, or take the long way round.
Good thinking lol
Judgmentās already on sale for $29.99 USD on the Xbox Store so nowās a good time to pick it up if you were waiting for a sale or something.
Tempting, unsure if I should get now or wait for when I start and finish Yakuza 6
Iām in the same boat, but leaning towards waiting a bit longer. Still have a game and a half to get through before I get to Judgment and the price might go lower still (or Game Pass)
Even if itās not completely related to Yakuza, I finished Judgment the other day and man this was a great game. Really liked the story and the characters.
Playing through Yakuza 0 now.
Finally picked up 0 again, now Iām not gonna drop it again or take a break.
Anyway, I kinda wish I started playing in the release order and not chronological. That way Iād get the lesser looking games first and work my way up to the much better looking and performing games. I bet itās gonna feel a little odd to play a PS3 remaster after 0. But ah well. For the story this is better, chronological.
Anyway, Iāve noticed I obtained all kinds of outfits but the game tells me I can only use them in some kind of adventure mode or whatever itās called. Basically I have to finish the story first, thatās a shame. So my question isā¦
I can leave some substories for until after the main story, so that I can then make use of these outfits. Is this true though, will it remember my substories progress? So once I finish the main story I can just pick up where I left with the substories?
Yes, you can. It will create a save of the main campaign once you finish it and you can then use that for Premium Adventure mode.
Thatās really good to know. Because usually I always finish side content before finishing the main story, but these extra outfits and things make it worth keeping some substories for the Premium Adventure mode.
And I assume in that mode Iāll be able to switch between the two characters too? Because then Iāll make sure to leave some side content, I just want to make sure I see all the substories because I find them really entertaining.
Yes you can switch characters in premium adventure. You can also change the time of day.
The other Yakuza games have premium adventure as well btw.
Hmm, I see. So in those games we only get to change outfits after main story too? Kinda unfortunate. Would be a cool change to see in future games and Judgment.
For what itās worth, 3 is pretty short, and only 4 after feels/looks like a PS3 game. Iām nearly done with 5 and Iām impressed with what they managed to get out of the PS3.
Sounds good to me!
Yeah Iām taking my time with these games. I love the whole atmosphere, the characters, the story, the minigames you can do, the substories etc.
Oooh, also, how do I find recepes? I want to make things like Nunchaku and those other weapons you can have crafted by that restaurant.
Taking your time is a good idea, it seems like it would be really easy to burn yourself out, especially if youāre doing completion list stuff. For weapons in 0, I wanna say you go to the Chinese restaurant as Majima and bankroll expeditions? Itās been a few years, sorry.
Yup! Iām not sure about Yakuza 6 and Like a Dragon though, havenāt played them yet. But I think you can in LAD.
You can change your costume but itās a battle-only thing. If you want to change your costume outside of battles, itās a premium adventure thing, just like the other games.
