Sorry but I don’t buy into OtherEra (Neogaf before that) holier than thou bullshit. Never have. Its fake, its an act. I would go as far to compare that site to /v/, or Gamefaqs but pretentious. One of the reasons I wouldn’t last a day there (Im surprised I lasted on Gaf as long as I did) because I’ll tell them about themselves with no hesitation and I probably won’t be very nice about it with my wording .

Most of the forum seems to have something against them personally lol. I generally enjoy their content including the Xcast, but I do find some eyebrow-raising takes every now and then. I’m sure I’ve said something silly on my own podcast every now and then.

But you know, PlayStation is everywhere here. I was at an electronics store today to pick up some stuff. It’s this huge store, and there was row after row after row of shelves of PlayStation games, accessories, consoles and PS5’s set up to play on etc. When they market third party games it looks just like their exclusives in that setup.

Xbox was, I shit you not, 11 games on a small shelf in a corner without any big signs. A few Series S consoles, a controller and a couple of headsets. Roughly 2% of the space that Playstation took in the store. I only found it because I was actively looking for it.

My country is like: You guys getting Xboxes?

I decided to make the trip to the cesspool too, I guess I was curious.

I’m seeing lots of posts with “yikes” and folks getting mad because Phil basically mentions cancel culture. Oh noooooo, we can’t have that. Was a joke a forum years ago, not when it started, but pretty soon, is even more of a joke now.

And yeah, that mod dropping the n bomb a few times…i mean,…what?

OK, back to normal life again.
