On act 2 of Mass Effect 2 and yeah, this is already one of my favourite franchises lol.
It’s everything that I wanted from the Halo franchise from a lore/story perspective in a video game.
Oh and Tali is the best girl I fear.

I think both universes want to achieves different things in their own ways, but yes Mass Effect was my favorite trilogy ever so far. I am more on Liara side though.

I played Mass Effect Andromeda back in like 2020 for an hour or so.
My first time playing the OG trilogy though.

I don’t like ME3, but I cannot deny that ME1 + ME2 was good. Shame that the final boss of ME2 was not as big threat as the one in ME1 and it felt more like huge DLC with amazing character missions.

Yeah…. They should just delete Andromeda from all digital stores so that doesn’t happen to any new players ever lol. But lucky you man, wish I could erase ME from my mind and experience it all over again. Hands down top ten trilogy in gaming.

I actually enjoyed Andromeda. It wasn’t an amazing game but can’t help but fe the hate for it was pretty overblown.

I played Mordor and couldn’t really get into it, didn’t find the world super interesting either. I agree with you, hope they have a more constrained game world, if that’s the right word. Wonder if 2023 is the year where we see something of it.

Finished both 1 and 2, even went through 1 a couple of times, probably for achievements as it was a very long time ago when I still cared about them and I just found everything about them boring
Mediocre gameplay and I just found the story and characters uninteresting, I remember everyone hyping up the suicide mission in ME2 like it was the best thing ever and I felt nothing

I didn’t hate it, and it did do some good things. The combat is objectively better and should be a blueprint for the next Mass Effect game. The open world design was decent, however everything else was just not as good as the first 3. Nearly every companion is inferior to the other games, and some are just bad like Peebee. We only get two new alien races even though we went to a different galaxy, and I don’t think anyone was really blown away by their design or lore. And I don’t need to rehash how atrocious the facial animations were (and still are) unacceptable for a BioWare game.
Was it overblown? Yeah probably, but do I blame people for being furious that they sold them a Mass Effect game that is not up to BioWare standards? No not really

looks like jez is confirming may for redfall… im still leaning towards november for starfield. I cant picture them releasing redfall in may and june starfield. unless some somethign crazy happens and we get starfield in january
This feels dejavu when Horizon 5 and Halo released so close. Why Xbox has to worry. They have Game Pass. Let people decide.

I think Starfield comes out when it’s ready, I don’t see them giving the game another delay (further eroding the trust of their fanbase) unless it’s required. They had a bunch of games slated for H1 so they must have been willing to release them close to each other.
