I don’t agree with the critical reception of a good amount of games over the years but this particular case with High on Life is a really extreme example of how I don’t get the scores…like at all.

So… folks at the Xbox Era podcast were discussing if Microsoft is too hands off with their studios and my input is…
Working with deadlines to respect and certain “pressure” is beneficial. And this hasn´t to mean crunching.

It’s not even a shock anymore, the last few years have really shown the arses of the industry and their biases, if it wasn’t clear before it is fucking blindingly clear now. It seems Xbox fans are proper speaking up about it and now the people who peddle BS about Xbox and Microsoft can’t handle the heat.
You know what I thought when Xbox bought Bethesda and all the other studios you’d see the slow migration of pro Xbox bad news and dumb arguments, to slowly migrate to more netueral Xbox news or even gasp possitive and while it did start to happen early on it clearly has stopped.
I feel like people fell back into the comfortable position of PlayStation better Xbox sucks that has been the last decade, they fell back into their old habbits. I cannot wait for this generation of PlayStation fans in the media get replaced by newer gaming fans who aren’t as entrenched PlayStation fans.
I without a doubt think Starfield is going to be heavily criticised for small things and more things in general because it is a Xbox game now.
The funny thing is, it’s not like I want all news about Xbox to be positive and never bad, it’s just keep it the same for both companies and don’t drool over everything one companie does and always have a critical or pessimistic eye over what Xbox does.

I don’t think anyone can talk badly of Turn 10, Playground Games and The Coalition when it comes to release dates and the quality of their games, they have been great. They all have taken some extra time for these new releases and I think it’s fully deserved.
