Xbox is marketing to weebs again.
Dunno about the entire world, but in Brazil you can trade Rewards points for gift cards at stores, so you can buy food and stuff by playing LOL.
You can do it in Australia too!
Only reason to watch are the trailers and thatâs what Youtube is for. Looking forward to that new Armored Core game.
Weâll see. I will most likely drop Dead Island 2 off my list as I do have and love Dying Light 2 so I donât need another very similar game especially with the Saints Row comedic aspects in it. If I do this, after REmake4, I donât have a new game until Suicide Squad and honestly, this is 50/50 as well. Didnât like the trailer from TGA at all.
My 2023 gaming schedule -
-
Wrap up GOWR by early January and then play Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga via Game Pass which will conclude my 2022 ten game completed list. While subscribed to Game Pass, I will play Monster Hunter Rise to make sure im into it as I have never played a Monster Hunter game and Rise is much more accessible to newbies like me. If it wins me over, I will push it back to April.
-
Dead Space will be my first new 2023 game release that I play and complete in 2023. Hogwarts Legacy is second. This is for February.
-
March will be Scars Above and then Star Wars: Jedi Survivor. Once I complete Survivor, I move on to Resident Evil 4. Once this is all completed, itâs already April.
-
April will be where I play Monster Hunter Rise, Atomic Heart and possibly Forspoken as between REmake4 and Suicide Squad in late May, I will have eight weeks to catch up and be evened out.
-
Being caught up by June, I will then go into most likely Final Fantasy XVI first since I will most likely buy the ultimate digital edition for Diablo IV and thus, no rush for me to play it. It can be my summer game as I always go into the summer expecting nothing new for me after June until late August/early September.
So I will be all caught up and evened out. Of course, this doesnât include games that donât have an official release date for the first half of 2023 which im expecting to be Redfall, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn and possibly one or two other games on my list.
Donât worry bud. Iâll be just fine.
This 100%. Arkane makes great games but man, do they get largely ignored. I see Redfall being the same with a chance it gets good word of mouth post release.
I agree even though I did prefer 2021 over 2022.
Thatâs a good and solid list. Not into metroidvania games but Fox looks really good. What exactly is Old Skies?
Me too. Late January/early February seems like a good spot in my opinion.
I canât say it was a dud. Got several new game reveals and a few release dates and a few new trailers for already announced games. But I did prefer 2021 over 2022.
Sad but so true. All I was hoping for was a release date trailer for Redfall and I would have been happy.
Hahaha. Yeah. Be careful. lol.
Dead Space is day one and Diablo IV will most likely be a digital purchase for me so I can play it over the summer.
Yeah, im sure that I will have a similar conversation with my friend later today.
I believe that they will release a few games in 2023 but it would have been nice to see a Redfall release date trailer to get the ball rolling, you know what I mean? Say Redfall is early March, I wouldnât need another first party release date until a week or two before Redfall so I know whatâs next. Iâm just very surprised that with the massive audience that TGA gets every year and that Microsoft has had some major reveals like the fucking Series X console, that they had nothing to show except some ads.
Itâs disappointing but more shocking than anything because of how Microsoft has had a presence at TGA in previous years so it was expected to see at least ONE game from them.
I fucking hate snapchat lol. Ever since I accepted a friend request that I thought was from a friends sibling Iâve been spammed with friend requests from porn accounts.
Yeah. That is so bad.
On social media stuff, I usually never post, use it only for following and not being nagged to sign in. I didnât have that happen on Twitter when I had an account there. Though the day after I setup Hive Social, the friends request from highly questionable accounts came pouring in. I literally had no posts and no bio info and just this ancient avatar. Itâs frustrating.
The amoung of job oppertunites I used to get in my twitter DMs was very high, how is ther unemployment /s
Played the Forspoken demo at a buddyâs place this afternoon. I think Sony might be regretting cutting Square that cheque lol. Itâs really not good.
It seems like a tech demo, like that godfall or w/e itâs called.
Thatâs always what Iâve been saying, and that it looks like a fake game in the background of a TV show or something.
From what Iâve heard from people whoâve played it at TGS itâs not good yeah.
65-75 metascore and âSquare sales disappointmentâ inbound.
Lol just saw Diablo 4 ad in the store âPreorder for open beta accessâ
Yeah, there was some hype for some of the heavily edited gameplay segments. Genuinely think they would have been better off not releasing the demo lol.
Blizzard has been pulling that one for a while now.
Funny wording, just say preorder for beta access haha. Also in the store it only just hit me being a GP:U subscriber that at least with EA games the $10 price increase is negated by the EA Play sub which is nice.
Oh they actually misspelled it lol?
nahh my point is an open beta usually means a free thing that anyone can play so to preorder to gain access to a beta means itâs not open, would be a closed beta. No real big deal just funny to see.
Itâs supposed to be âearlyâ access to the open beta, pre-orders get to start playing the 4 days before it goes open; of course that doesnât make it any less weird as yes it would then be a closed beta for 4 days then a open beta
Ahhh. Yeah they have been pulling that shit since Diablo 3. Hence my original comment.
