It is getting mixed reviews?

People are saying something and reviews coming are different

Hmm was expecting 8 or 9 across the board, goes to show that graphics aren’t everything.

Time to pushbacks on these type of cinematic movie games where it all pretty graphics but lacks subsistence.

The PC release seems to suffer from UE stutters, just about worse than initial SackBoy release, where it’s literally pausing for seconds at a time. At the very least it’ll provide for a rather ranty DF video article about it. I wonder how many of those TCP reviews with lower scores were done on PC platform.

That’s about what I expected based on the leaked footage. Like I said earlier, the game looked like it needed some more time in the oven, but it didn’t seem it was going to get it.

Bought Judgement in the xbox sale. So far so :+1: Yagami is a cuul dude

I’m a bit surprised about the reviews of Calisto Protocol. Maybe its because horror games often get mixed reviews?

But seriously, I should read what’s wrong but man, EA must be like “Oh this won’t be hard.” That is if they don’t temper with the team.

So far, I got performance issue alas Gotham Knight and poor combat. Not to be that guy but I’ll be that guy, you can rub in the faces by saying “Ha! Even your precious Sony employees magic can’t make it a masterpiece!” But again, if only you’re that guy.

Just saying…

There are too many studios out there that waste budget and time on unnecessary animations and over the top graphics rather than trying to develop fun gameplay. I hope that Hellblade 2 is much more than visuals and that it manages to deliver an experience with high replay value.

We are once again fooled by the pre launch hype by the community :joy:

Marvel Midnight Suns is a blast so far. Team building reminds me of Dragon Age Inquisition. Combat is a mix of XCOM and Slay The Spire and is there is good story telling. About 5 hours in so far and I have NO regrets spending 75$ on the ultimate edition.

@Doncabesa looks like you weren’t picked because they worry that you’ll give it a bad score, you should take that as a compliment because you can’t be bought. It seems like they tried to give it to main folks who could give them a high score which in the end failed in the first place haha.

75 ain’t bad, it seems to be carried by its presentation and production values. See a lot of criticism for the lack of suspense, puzzles, and the combat doesn’t sound that great.

I find it ironic that the game is developed by folks that did Dead Space and willing to do the classic style of horror yet all I’m getting is “third person shooter.” Basically Dead Space 3.

More dirtbag comment from me:

“Looks like EA got the better leftovers.”

I’ll stop now…

What ACG is saying right now…

Gamespot was brutal and yet I understood his frustration. Not only the jumps scare will get old, and supposedly they repeat the process multiple times, but the story seems like it decided to be interesting by the end. From what I heard from a streamer, he believes the story is purposely written the way to force you to buy the dlc. If true, wow.

Man, it’s sad it turned out this way. The gameplay videos I thought were so so, but the dev diaries really started to sell the game to me, it really got me hyped. But the cons I’m reading about…nah.

Wow that DLC part is crazy, apparently there were some outlets who were refused codes and now it makes sense. The PC performance was awful, I refunded the game lol.
