Usually we put the long game on hold until we finish the short one

Ha ha, and I bought the long game outright while I’m playing the short one on Game Pass too! It doesn’t add up, but it made sense for me right now time-wise

I don’t think anyone is shocked that going from a racer to open world RPG isn’t exactly easy. But we do know that the game was pitched to Spencer several years ago, they showed him something. They were already busy on a open world game until they named it Fable.

Starfield, we’ll see. Officially it’s still planned for the first half. Officially (per Spencer) the games from E3 were tracking well, obviously this includes Starfield since he was talking about how it’s been too long since we had a big game by XGS. And also the stuff Bethesda themselves said.

That’s what I’m gonna go with, not “trust me bro” shit, sorry.

They had to hire new people familiar with RPG’s and build the engine tools necessary for an RPG and that takes a lot of work and time, none of which is a cause for concern, they weren’t just going to get all of the OG Horizon teams to make something they have no prior knowledge of, we’ve already known this for years and should be common sense to anyone anyway

As for Starfield, I’m honestly expecting it to take the full year delay, the first year looks jam packed and if you’re already delaying the game after working on it for that long why not let it cook a few extra months and release on 11/11 again

If it does manage to release first half 2023, then great but im perfectly fine waiting the full year, give me the best game possible

I know that about Fable. It’s really nothing new indeed.

As for Starfield, agreed. In fact I’m just gonna put my mindset at “it’s Holiday 2023” so if they do end up announcing a release date for the first half of next year it’s gonna mean extra excitement. That’s not to say I won’t be sad if they end up delaying it further.

I think if it truly had been in serious trouble like this new user is claiming then I don’t think they would have committed to first half 2023 for it.

We shall see.

Do you get all your information from Jason ‘Pony’ Schreier?

Other than the 1B Halo Infinite BS, do you really think Rare are that concerned about Everwild if management are organising them firework shows, anniversary parties, charity events and other tech shows?

I know devs too but I wouldn’t ever post anything they say on a public forum.

But didn’t CDPR hint at something a while ago that makes it pretty much impossible that it has Vesemir or Ciri in it?

I would say it worked because I had no intentions in buying cyberpunk unless its on gamepass. However, after I watched that series I went on to purchase it and also helped it was on sale

Been crazy to see the huge popularity of the show and breakout characters like David, Lucy, and Rebecca. Best case scenario for a multimedia universe being built around a game. Whoever greenlit the show has got to be feeling pretty good about that decision right now. I expect to see lots of other games copy the strategy too.

Hoping we get to explore Nilfgard in the next game, but seeing the announcement picture heavily featuring snow it’s likely the game is set in one of the more northern states like Kovir and Poviss

I have all the faith in the world in CDPR that it will be something special. Can’t wait to see with what kind of characters they will come because interesting and likeable characters absolutely is their forte.

Review embargo for The Callisto Protocol is on launch day. I hope that’s not a bad sign. Doom was launch day embargo too and GTA 5 and RDR2 as well, but those were all sequels and well established franchises too.

Wasn’t there some leaked gameplay that had the game looking hella rough.

I’m starting to think that game needs more time, but definitely isn’t going to get it.
