I don’t see it. Where is it?

Pick up only, but Target has Series S holiday for 250 with a 50 dollar gift card. Great deal

Maybe but it’s still a business lol.

I wonder if that partner is Microsoft?

Maybe it’ll be Square, haha jk

Man I really hope so, but if not, hopefully someone else that won’t lock this stuff up for their own platform.

This could point to Game Pass. But I guess Sony too, they have a service now too.

I don’t understand why they bought so many studios when it seems they can’t handle the budget for these AAA games. I’m very skeptical about this group output

It would be hilarious if Sony starts investing in their service while regulators will continue to cripple Microsoft for their acquisitions

It certainly feels that Embracer just lacks budget for bigger games and their recent releases feel undercooked.

Buying Saints Row at launch made me very skeptical about this group because it seems they hoarded a bunch of talent but aren’t giving proper budget for their games. I worry about Tomb Raider series because I am unsure if they’re going to allow crystal proper resources to regain interest in series

It could be subscription related, but part of Mr is wondering who would jump at spending a bunch of money to get Embracer games.

I think co-development and publishing deals are also ways to reduce risks and have more consistent revenue.

It is possible that it can a partial investment - like paying for development - or something. A partner provides additional funding to the game.

It might be Epic for example as Epic seems to get a lot of games EGS exclusive.

It says multiple partners too and makes it sound like multiple deals, so could be deals with a bunch of folks I suppose.

Yeah the whole situation with Embracer is weird, will this deal be about a subscription service or it’s a timed exclusivity deal? both sound possible IMO. If they are not talking about a platform holder and it’s a big publisher like EA I don’t see how that could work though.

True. Probably some deals might include Game Pass deal, some deal might include exclusive EGS launch and so on.

Yeah I fear for Tomb Raider a little as well. But maybe that’s where help from these other partners could come in. I just hope exclusivity won’t be part of any deal, let Tomb Raider and stuff like that release everywhere please.

I think that Embracer has no budget to finance a proper Tomb Raider game and Deus Ex for that matter. They will partner with somebody for those games.

Buy low and sell high.

The issue is, we’re entering a recession lol. Don’t have a good feeling about them at all long term wise.

That would be funny since we all pretty much assumed that the Eidos IP’s would continue to be multiplaform under Embracer. If Sony is one of the partners…let’s prepare for the worst I’d say just to be safe. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
