One of the capabilities on that store page is ‘xbox presence’, what the hell does that mean?

Okay so it was a part of ID@Xbox.

Stranger out in the wild was hurt, got bit by a snake. I had Arthur take the poison out and the guy lived.

Later in the day i am in the little town called Valentine and a dude calls to me. It’s the same guy, thanking me for my good deed and he tells me to go get a item free of charge from the gunsmith.

RDR2.

These small things all add up to building a amazing, lively game world. Not even BGS has this kind of stuff. In fact one of my annoyances with Skyrim was how this person very close, basically in the area of the college, I was the lead mage of the college or whatever it was called again and this guy tells me I should sign up for the college.

I do recall some improvements on this in Fallout 4 though.

Skyrim 2011 game, RDR2 2018, Skyrim around 100 people worked on it, RDR 2 around 1600. Comparing them is kind of pointless, but it is what it is.

I dont think you should expect these kind of things from non-rockstar games .

Some people missed their children’s birth making that game :skull:

Bruh when is this gonna end

This is realize fully well, but I don’t think it’s too much to expect improvements from this. I was only giving it as an example.

That’s why I mentioned Fallout 4 too, because I recall characters talking to me and it was about something that happened, it was nice to see. If it come off as comparing RDR2 with Skyrim, not my intention. I adore both games. I just named it as an example.

I would’ve loved if RDR2 was not a slog to play. In the time it takes for you to loot a person on RDR2 you can loot a whole room of people in Skyrim :skull:

Really think they took it way too far with the realism, was too frustrating for me to go through.

Bethesda will likely never reach the level of details that R* brings just like R* will likely never reach the level of interactivity that Bethesda games brings

Different goals, different talents and completely different games

I mean, BGS staff is less than 500, while RDR2 alone had 2000+. Though arguably BGS has the whole modding community that does a lot of things. Something that RDR does not have.

I despise basically everything about the gameplay loops of Rockstar games. I wasted so much money because of FOMO with their games, but I have been freed from that curse.

Yeah, I can definitely understand this but I personally do not mind this at all. This is the one game where I can accept and actually appreciate the extreme realism. It just fits it, it’s a bit hard to explain.

That being said, I DO wish there was a option to cook multiple pieces of meat at once and not one at a time, I do find that just a bit too extreme, lmao.

Speaking of that. Back when Skyrim came out I saw some people were disappointed that BGS didn’t make it insane realistic like…having every gold coin weigh something in your inventory. Thank god it didn’t, sheesh.

My biggest issue with modern rockstar outside of the gameplay feeling god awful, seriously, the controls have been awful since GTA4

But the mission design has fallen off a cliff after San Andreas, everything is so confined that you have basically no choice in how you go about completing a mission anymore
