Yeah I love seeing the positive energy this year at TGS (and of course all the great announcements), as for Xbox having it’s best generation with the Series consoles I think that is a given…and we haven’t seen nothing yet. The beast is fully awake and hungry as hell! Hype indeed!
Never forget….
The fact that Xbox still doesn’t have Final fantasy 7 Remake is absurd, and no journalist have said squat or made angry rants about it.
And wasn’t this back when he was still a big Xbox fan? Or probably not and jumped on the PS4 hype back wagon then.
Or maybe Joe covered it during one of his news episodes, but I rarely ever watch those.
But you’re right, the hypocrisy is not only on Sony’s side.
Nah, he switched to PS after Xbox One fiasco (or at the end of Xbox 360 era).
This gen we can slowly see Sony eroding their goodwill and even across the media the voices are less vocal these days.
Can anybody in the xbox update let me know if you see option “Use TV remote for console” . Tempted to join update preview for it because for some reason I don’t have that feature on my xbox
I do, loving using it when I just wanna watch YouTube
Honestly Sony has shown their asses these past few weeks with the price increases and their BS about ‘protecting gamers.’ It’s as Rand has said, Sony doesn’t want to compete with Game Pass, and henceforth couldn’t give a shit about providing value to gamers.
As in partnerships with Japanese studios? Music to my ears.
In the future we’re gonna have some really cool E3 and TGS shows then.
Which ring are you on?
So happy to see this, and it’s great to see they’re listening to the community. I can’t wait for the E3 show one they unveil some of these games.
Hopefully some big level stuff, like something such as a JRPG of their own, action adventure perhaps. I’d love that.
Lost Odyssey 2 & Blue Dragon 2.
Alpha skip ahead
The things id do for Lost Odyssey 2
I know that Sakaguchi no longer wanted to jump back to (console) gaming industry. but Phil making a visit to his office/studio would be nice for some feedbacks for their next (assumed) jrpg game since the BD/LO era. him joining the development of the game in any capacity would be great.
――The only dissatisfaction with the content announced at X019 is that “FFXIV” can not be played on Xbox yet. It’s been 3 years already, is it still impossible?
Phil Spencer: Hahaha, I did say that (laughs). Of course, we haven’t given up yet. This is Microsoft and Square Enix’s commitment to the game fans of both companies, and we will continue to coordinate in the future.
And this part was really funny
Q: Mr. Kamiya from PlatinumGames seems to want to revive the “Scalebound” project, but is it possible?
Phil Spencer: (laughs). There is nothing to say about “Scalebound” at this time.
–Let’s change the question. The acquisition of Activision Blizzard is shaking the world…
Phil Spencer: Oh, let’s get back to the “scalebound” question, shall we? (smile)
It’s nice to see executives who actually play video games. Must be great for the devs too. Imagine Cryin Ryan at these things, probably has an assistant who shows him how to hold a controller.
These videos are top notch
