It looks great but the most important part is it feels so much better running at 60fps, it’s one of those games that’s almost a full redo where it just feels so much better. I bought it and play online fairly often haven’t dived into the story yet and probably won’t but yeah the feeling of the game over the 30fps crap is amazing.
I didn’t buy out out of principle because the game was 50% cheaper on PSN due to a deal Sony cut with Rockstar to make multiplayer upgrade free for 6 months and campaign 50% cheaper

Ok that’s good to know. I asked it because I see wildly differing opinions on Reddit especially. Some say they find it barely looking better than Xbox One version, despite the higher resolution. If I buy it i probably won’t bother with raytracing mode since that’s 30fps, but I sure hope in terms of Sharpness that performance mode is a lot better than Xbox One.
I’m sure it won’t be the last time it will be on sale though, so I’m gonna think about if I’ll do it.

Just thinking of all the IP WB owns. Feels like Xbox should’ve bought them instead of Activision. Rick and Morty could be advertising Xbox instead of PlayStation.
I think ABK will eventually prove to be a great addition to XGS even if you’re not a CoD fan. Can’t forget about Diablo 4 day one on Game Pass, and all the possible new IP these studios will make. But yeah, hopefully the deal closes so, just so that they can continue their hunt for more studios before other companies gobble them up and/or Sony making their annoying ass deals.

In order to get those IPs, they’d have to buy all of WB which would not only cost more than ABK, would have a shit load of debt and 90% of the costs would go towards stuff MS doesn’t have any expertise or possibly any interest in i.e. tv and movies
ABK also makes more money and none of those IPs are gonna bring in the money or GP subscribers than CoD and the rest of ABK will
People overestimate the value of superhero games, Spiderman is by far the biggest and it still doesn’t come close to CoD
WB would not sell the IP.
And not to mention WB is an internal mess in that area too.

Buy all of WB. That would’ve made a lot of sense. It gives tons of ip for Xbox to work with and fills the fighting game and superhero game side of things. Then it puts Microsoft on par with the other big tech giants that have already moved into video. Google with YouTube, Amazon with Twitch and prime, Apple with Apple TV. I think Microsoft should’ve bought hbomax. Also we’d get cool Rick and Morty commercials.
I think the best scenario would be Microsoft somehow grab Netflix + Paramount and then license DC content from WB (considering they are not interested in TV series of DC properties anyway).
I’m seeing a commercial for Dead Island 2 quite often on Youtube. That’s probably a good sign for the release date. Was surprised to already see commercials for it.

Speaking of Starfield. Did anyone else see NASA released an Xbox game a few days ago? It’s free so I’m about to try it out.
It has achievements if anybody cares about that sort of thing. My quick first impression is that it should probably be a VR game.
