It’s anecdotal, but here in my neck of Eastern Canada, everyone I know has a Switch (multiple per household even), mostly everyone I know has an Xbox, not many I know have a Playstation.
yezzir
While Xbox is doing well, I’m sure it safe to say that here in Montreal is very much PS-Land.
So yeah, just like I said… Not going well in Japan…
Now is the time for MS to strike with another VTuber PC Game Pass collab
Im not expecting FF16 to do well in Japan, price hike or not
Imagine a console which is weaker then the competition and expensive then the competition ?
That’s what PS5 is
That’s different
nothing new for Sony, happend before with PS3
This is one of my biggest complaints of Xbox and a big prevention in Xbox’s growth. They HAVE to step away from these awful machine translations and lack of marketing/care they do in non Anglosphere regions. This is a big factor in why Sony has such a diehard fanbase; it’s because in many of these regions Xbox never gave them any care in the first place.
But it is a shame that Microsoft cannot capitalize on this PS price increase. Now if it were Xbox 360 era…Oh, boy. Xbox marketing would have a field day
I have no idea what it is happening in the first place. Especially considering how big Windows localization team is.
OPUS sounds very interesting
You will be surprised by the number of fans who defend their console when they don’t even have a one
Games localization is outsourced to 3rd party localization studios
Are the one they use bad or something? Is there like some shortage of good localisation studios?

Tbf german is a hard language to learn. Even when you grow up with german.
It will vary depending on language, but judging from my experience with Arabic localization, yeah most localizations are not good, the best I’ve seen are Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077, and some of the best weirdly include Forza 6, but MS stopped localizaing in Arabic after Gears 5 for some reason.
Whole thing about it looks undercooked.
