I wasnât even planning on buying anything in October until they announced it was releasing on the 25th. Itâs gonna be great lol.
I want to see what Sony will do with a PS+ in 2023. The amount of AAA and AA games arriving on Game Pass launch day is insane! Also, later this year, Microsoft will launch the ability to buy Xcloud games, which will boost Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions. PS+ is fantastic, no doubt, especially with Ubisoft games. But without âDay Oneâ releases, competing against Microsoftâs service will get more and more complicated.

Same here. Itâs probably too soon to say, but right now Iâm not feeling this new crew at all.
Last year there were a lot of demos during one of the Geoff shows for Xbox, and Blacktail was among them. Maybe you can still find it. I played the demo and it was really damn cool. Atmosphere was great.
Dead Island 2 graphically looks nice, definitely better and cleaner than DL2.

Also what were those awards for best Xbox and PS games? All multiplatform games. At least pick exclusives then, lmao.
Checked for Blacktail but thereâs no demo listed. It definitely has my interest though.
Really? I think Dying Light 2 looks better. DL 2 is an AA game and I see DI 2 as being an âaaâ game. lol. Basically, a slightly lesser version of DL 2.
Of course, itâs going to be all about combat and gameplay. Remains to be seen if itâs as good as DL 2.

Faces looked good. Environments didnât look great to me in Dead Island 2. Also, Dambuster is the development studio and they released Homefront Revolution in 2016 which was a disaster all around so I definitely have my worries. lol.
But I do have interest in it and am looking forward to seeing more gameplay of it. Just have to wait and see.

I donât really remember caring much about the trailers of the first game, but the demo sold me on it. It didnât take long for me to start liking the characters.
Randy did say they had some of the writers from the first game on this. But these characters seemed more like Borderlands 3 characters to me, just not as well made as all the other games and when they open their mouths itâs cringe.
But, yeah, weâll see.

Wonder if the reason they went with a presence like this is because they will have XO for new reveals from XGS and updates on upcoming big but previously announced XGS games. In the past Xbox had their own stage shows for GC.
Perhaps a better direction and with a schedule no less. Easier to pick up on the interest of certain game(s) you want more on. Not to mention, they have their own booth, so more fun for everyone.

I guess, but this seems more like a after show thing, a extended thing. A show where theyâd have new reveals, both first party and third party would be great. Perhaps that can happen next year.
XO this year if it happens should be a perfect opportunity to show updates on Redfall, Starfield. Maybe finally a update on Avowed, updates on any of these games by their many studios.
They will show things when they are ready, no use to rush things.
