But with Xbox going after more devices with PC, Xbox and xCloud and Game Pass they will big enough community one way or another.

I still don’t understand that obsession with a need for Playstation community (and nobody cares about Nintendo of course while they are doing great with Smash). If PS4 sold less than Xbox One last gen, would we even have this conversation? Xbox 360 had exclusive fighting games and it has never been a problem.
Provide more content and grow the community.
It is no more true for FG than for another game. I wonder if Halo multiplayer revitalizes if released on Playstation as their FPS community is bigger /s
Fuck man, enough with this heatwave already. Last night was barely able to sleep, I sleep under a open window but there was zero percent wind and plenty humidity. They say it’s gonna get even worse because rain is going to fall tonight and tomorrow, so basically it’s going to feel like a jungle, the worst. Only place that’s doable is the living room with the mobile airco enabled.
The electricity bill probably isn’t gonna be pretty later this year though with that insane price increase.
Was there a heatwave? I am taking care of a dog these days and the only annoyance I found was the loud neighbours…Granted I sleep under the same blanket all year (winter, summer etc.)
Yep the whole multiplatform/borderline port begging when it comes to xbox releases is annoying
Yes, multiplayer games would do better if they released on playstation/more platforms cus no shit
No, Xbox in no way needs to release outside it’s ecosystem for a game including fighters to be successful, this isn’t the xbone gen anymore
Quite frankly if KI2 or any other game cant survive across series/pc/gamepass/xcloud then it probably doesn’t deserve to exist at all and being multiplatform wouldn’t save it either
Yep. Just saw the news, the heatwave is now official, lol.
Do you have a one story house or two story? My stepfather used to live in a house under my house and it was never ridiculously hot or humid there. But as soon as you start to go up the stairs to my house…sheesh!!!
Give me a summer where it’s degrees tops, nice cool breeze and done! I’d pay good money to have summer always be that way.
Oof. AC is basically on all the time all year save for Winter where I live. Accounts for like 60-70℅ of the electricity bill if not more, they even increase the fees in Winter because they would lose so much on operation if fees were fixed
I stay with the dog in two storey house, but my house is three story. The higher the hotter indeed but it helps that my house has no sunny sides, but the place with a dog has both sunny sides and I sleep on the second floor. But still use blanket. It is warm
I have a cool fan. And it has a cool air but it is not a conditioner.
I know the PS audience being more fighter oriented , is the perception. It’s hardly the reality though. One can just look as sales of DNF Duel, Blazblue Crosstag , Granblue, Blade Strangers, etc. Hell GG Strive is the first of those games to do a million , and i bet PC version got the bulk of the sales. The StreetFighters and MK are the big sellers that do well on every platform they’re on.
I again stress that on Steam and Xbox KI had 3 million players. Sure one can make the claim that KI only did well on xbox because SF wasn’t there, (though MK was) and that was def a factor. But good reviews , positive word of mouth especially from big fighting game Youtubers like Maximillion( who even to this day stream matches for it) , had a lot to do with why it did so well, that and being one of the best fighters of last gen. I have no doubt KI2 will be even bigger than the first and will do even better and no it doesn’t need the PS5 to do that.
Also i don’t think Jez is necessarily more pro PS, i think it’s a nostalgia thing for a lot of people when it comes to Playstation. That and the fact that it’s been the defacto popular console for many decades, it has the perception that every genre going to do better on it. I thought the 360 generation would kill that perception but it obviously did not.
