Collector’s Edition in stock for Xbox again. My birthday is in under a month “WINK WINK”
I still can’t preorder Digimon Survive
And we haven’t heard a word about review codes yet despite being “on the list”.
Your birthday is in August as well?
Nice. Give me more Marvel (and DC) games!!! Maybe it’s one of the SkyDance games with Amy Hennig.
Hmm, good point there!
The problem was blue dragon wasnt that good. LO was way better but came later. Ms are doing well to partner and bring more of these older jrpg games and series to xbox but maybe making a new ip or lost odyssey remake should have been something they should ahve persued as well
Something very fishy going on with this release.
I’ve got two reviews scheduled for this week, huzzah! Slowest release schedule in a while.
Even if Blue Dragon wasn’t good, you would think the playerbase would grow in 1 year. Oblivion and Eternal Sonata sold more than LO in Japan.
It is either mutiplatform or Sony’s exclusive.
Xbox rejecting Marvel is the most based thing in the gaming industry. I will not elaborate.
Wasn’t it at a time when Terry Myerson cut almost all budget for Xbox ?
Around 2014, not sure about the timeline of things
Personally, I believe that Microsoft made the right decision back in 2014 because it wouldn’t have made any sense to get Spider Man or Marvel games when you barely have any internal studios and those you do have were all busy with other games/franchises.
With that said, in 2022, should Microsoft go after Marvel/DC/Star Wars? Absofuckinglutely. Microsoft never has their finger on the pulse when it comes to gaming. They never go after what’s hot, popular and will drive people to your shit.
This is where Sony dominates. They see shit that is hot, they go after it, they get it and then reap all the rewards from it as it rarely fails for them.
Of course, im not expecting Microsoft to get any licensed properties excluding Indiana Jones which was already done before Microsoft acquired ZeniMax.
Zenimax and ABK both have a stable of the highest-selling games in the industry, period. Forza Horizon is quite possibly the single-biggest racing franchise in gaming history, as another example. But sure, “Microsoft never had their finger on the pulse of gaming”…
I honestly don’t know what to say to this. Quite honestly stunned. Can you be more clear or specific at least?
Too add it’s not like MS went after the top selling game every single year either (CoD) which outsells stuff like Spider-Man, God of War any any big title from PS.
But yeah let’s go with Peter, MS don’t ever go after anything hot or popular…
