if you search for xbox era it should pop up, I"ll approve requests as I see them
Nobody said or believes this. Itās a fact that the transition is a lot easier and you have studios with experience, thatās the whole point.
You basically have to implement sub game inside the game. I see no point going that route.
Anyway, in Phil We Trust. If Phil decides to do that, then it makes sense. If not - then it is not. Just because Sony is chasing that it does not mean that Xbox should copy it. Same with handhelds.
damn Dishonored / Deathloop would be a perfect VR game⦠the blink mechanic is literally what you do in VR half the time for ālocomotionā
This x100000
I hope Microsoft donāt waste time and resources chasing VR. Sorry for the people who like to play that way or have that experience, but the reality is the majority of people are not interested in VR at all.
Clearly Zenimax sees a point.
Pretty cringe, not gonna lie.
We recently witnessed the try to increase the price of Xbox live gold under Phil.
I still think that the biggest take off of VR will happen when it will be purely wireless and wonāt require manual controls.
Various companies tinker with various technologies.
As long as I can still ram my car into a pole and fly across the map
Agreed they should allow 3rd party headsets if they donāt fully want to invest. It does seem strange they have some of their studios making VR content on other platforms, but we canāt get that content since no VR
Aside Mojang which first party studio released VR items after the acquisition? (those that happened before acquisition are excluded)
True, I can only think of Flight SImulator which isnāt a game created by a first party studio. I do feel Project Mara may have VR feature on PC tbh
I personally donāt think so but I wonder if it were to happen, what headsets would it support?
i think hellblade vr released after the aquisition but iām not sure.
Unsure, but maybe Oculus, vive, and Index. However, I am not expert on VR headsets
lol
They have a lot of fun today, Jez just learned that PGR is not a Batman racing game
Why it was called Gotham in the first place?
I think with VR Microsoft is trying to avoid repeating their mistake with kinect, they donāt want to waste time with a gadget only a small percent of the audience buys and uses. Letās look at the PSVR, I personally think itās great - itās an affordable and approachable headset supported with content by a major games company if anything is gonna push VR forward itās THAT - but they also sold about 5 million headsets to a total audience of about 120 million PS4 customers. Iād rather see Xbox keep going the way they are going and focus on producing content for game pass rather than shifting to support something that only 4% of the audience might buy. And hey, maybe if VR ever does take off Microsoft can maybe start looking at it more seriously, I mean Iām sure they have people tinkering away with this stuff and they could be in a strong position to capitalise on the market if they made a headset that functioned across both console AND pc.
No impact in the US as you can still order directly from Microsoft in the US. Maybe useful when the next in-demand items hit?
