But it would be so sleek and “hip”. You’d look cool for owning it and it would allow you to incessantly brag to your friends how cool you are and how they should switch to the Apple console cause it’s “so much better”.

Sorry, but Apple fanboys are by far the most insufferable people I’ve ever met.

I can’t deny that I am kinda curious to see what Apple could bring into the console world, assuming it’s not streaming only, that is.

But them getting EA would mean Xbox missing out on the next BioWare games, games that could be really good, I sure hope so. I’m going to have to buy yet another system for that? Well, probably for more because if Apple is going to be serious they’ll get more studios on board.

And they’ll pull all the dumb sh*t that Sony does with stuff like cross play.

What if?

Apple entering the Console market is the turning point which units all the Xbox, Nintendo and PlayStation fans together O.o

Yeah, you probably are the only one. lol

I have zero interest in Apple in general and have zero interest in having a third platform/console. I spent $1500+ on my Series X and PlayStation 5 along with an additional almost $800 on games not including games that were released before November 2020.

Wish Apple just stays with their shitty mobile gaming and that’s it.

FWIW, I wouldn’t mind an Apple entry that was focused on mobile/portable. Nintendo could use some competition.

But I wouldnt want them acquiring a bunch of companies and forcing them to work on that class of hardware.

yet Xbox not materialising on that at all even to this day.

With like 3 studios openly saying they’d like to work on it too.

Toys for Bob is the one hope left, if when the acquisition goes through and they don’t put that studio to work on it, I’ll just give up, and curse whoever could be holding that back :sob:

Wait, we’ve had studios saying they would work on it?

I only want Banjo to happen so people can shut up about it, after that, T4B can focus on Crash and Spyro, much better IPs

As for Apple, the only thing I want to see from them if they enter the console/AAA market is them crashing and burning

Yep. Playtonic (og Banjo guys), Gears for Breakfast (Hat in Time), and - unconfirmed - it seems even the head of Toys for Bob also expressed willingness to work on it, and honestly even if he didn’t it makes total sense they would since they seem to love to work on reviving classic 3D platformers, and like, they’re gonna be owned by MS soon. Tell me how anything else makes sense more than this.

Then there really is no reason not to greenlight a new BK game, just none. I mean you can’t force a studio if they don’t want, but if they actually made it known they’d love to work on it and MS also sees the wish from the fans…let’s do it already!!!

You know, you can’t fault Xbox for not having certain game like KI or Banjo if they don’t have a developer suited for it. I know people see it as they don’t care but would you rather have a no talent at this genre to work on it.

Play tonic and A hat in Time dev could be studios that can pull it off. Yooka Laylee wasn’t all that great though, but that’s because they did certain things a game like this doesn’t need.

Toys for Bob are a fantastic studio but they should still go after more Family/E-rated stuff IMO e.g. Playtonic, TT Games, Jackbox Games, Ubisoft Montpellier (Rabbids & Rayman) and Sonic Team (SEGA) etc.

CD and Eidos are similar to Ninja Theory and Naughty Dog IMO, they would have been a brilliant addition and would appeal to me more then most of the titles from these big publishers.
