The way I see it is Xbox is here to sell its ecosystem, while PS is here to tell you to **** the other guy, stick with them. Itās basically how āmomentumā can shift.

This whole thing seems stupid. Publicly pausing a deal to do ādue diligenceā, Iām not sure it really counts as diligence if you leave it till after making an offer to start thinking about this stuff. Especially when he even made a very public comment about getting rid of all the bots on twitter, itās clearly not an issue heās unaware of. Not to mention a back and forth of information in these deals to confirm this and check that seems fairly standard - publicly announcing the deal is on hold awaiting information but that he still intends to proceed with it seems like meaningless showmanship unless he is truly setting the scene to back out of it.
I guess I shouldnāt complain too much, I was hoping this would explode in his face and it appears that is the route we are going.

Edit: Was coming here to bitch about how Twitter and xbox discourse is pretty much a shit show. But then i remembered that could be said of any given moment there. In fact does Xbox even having a history of making Sony-associated titles exclusive? They tried once with Tomb Raider (which was not even japanese) and the backlash was immense.
As long as the developers flock to their platform, Sony wonāt need to do anything.
I mean indie developers complained about PS platform and praised Xbox, yet they skip Xbox and donāt skip Playstation.

Just saw episode 2 and Iām really enjoying it but something bugs me a little, maybe itās just me.
At one point early on in the episode two characters are outside, they managed to get outside of the school. As far as I could see they could have started running and completely escape the whole school area and just run, find safety and get help.
Instead of that they climb atop a vehicle and back into the school building. Later again two characters do this by using a staircase, they too could have escaped the school. Or am I missing something?

Assuming the worst does not mean what you think it means. That Sonys moneyhatting of third parties will get worse now that they have their own attempt at a Game Pass competitor is not assuming the worst. Especially when they will not be able to compete with Xbox first party organisation in terms of quantity and diversity.

The Chant is giving me Bloober Team vibes but the studio Brass Token is from Vancouver and this is their first game. They mention the ācore creative team draws on extensive experience leading commercial and critical success in games, including Sleeping Dogs and Bully.ā
I personally really enjoyed Blair Witch and The Medium so looking forward to this.
