I donât expect much from the Bloober game, but if the other SH game is by Kojima, not gonna lie, Iâm curious. Especially if they go the PT route with it. That was several years ago though, but still. Kojima has flirted with weird and creepy stuff before, a horror by him is what Iâd be curious about.
But I canât deny I donât like how likely two new SH titles are now timed exclusive to Sony, one probably full exclusive. I know it didnât score super great but I quite enjoyed Downpour on 360, or was that X1, donât remember, heh.

There are a lot of people here hoping for revivals of much less relevant IPâs. Maybe we shouldnât dismiss games before we see them, only because they are timed exclusives.
But itâs certainly time to see them after all that talk.

It has been a while since I played the first 3, and I never played Judgement, so I would hope thatâs included. I think that wouldnât be the opinion of the majority of people though.
Itâs not about dismissing the game, itâs about facts, Silent Hill series have a fanbase, but overall the series is not a mainstream one, thatâs what some us are saying.
Iâd guess itâs good news for fans of the game, but am not expecting the new game will set the sales chart on fire.

I am pretty sure that if Xbox sells more consoles, Satya will announce that they are the market leader. There is no business that wants to be just âgood enoughâ. Each business strives to become the best and the biggest.
Onside ring Xbox has no exclusives comming soon outside of a remaster they need to start taking games from Sony
To be fair Kojima really revitalised it with PT, that shit spawned so many indie rip offs and there was a lot of hype for Silent Hills and then when they cancelled it became even more mythical
But without the OG Team Silent or Kojima, im not sure what the appeal is at this point, I get being a fan of what a franchise once was and you want more of it but Silent Hill is a series that requires people to know what they are doing and everything after 4 wasâŚnot good
Thatâs true, but Kojima could say heâs working on Sneak King and there would be a rabid fan base for that. I wasnât interested in the old SH games, but I probably would have given his game a shot at least.
Maybe theyâll go the MCC route, start with the core series and add Judgement as dlc later.

Iâm sure nobody missed me or my news reporting these past few months, but I wanted to let everyone know Iâm back. Iâve been helping out setting up refugee camps in our local government for Ukrainian refugees since March, but things are finally getting back to normal. Which means I have time to play games again and to write news stories for XboxEra.
So, be prepared for more threads on this forum besides the 5 you are regularly posting in!

They had Stalker 2 and Atomic Heart for really big games, although Atomic Heart was multiplatform right off the bat, but who knows when these will come out, can be a long time. I agree, I would like them to go after those games too. The SH stuff is from several years back, but I doubt Sony isnt out there making more deals.
I mean sure the would do that but its not happening this generation nor is their objective.
