I dont think so . Reasons it didnt sell well
- Its EGS exclusive on PC .
- There is not alot of difference between the OG version and the remastered . So why spend $30 on the remastered when you can buy the OG for $6 .
as a southeast asia resident iâm a bit angry that most of US gaming companies are racing to promote diversity and all and yet they barely feature asian culture and characters (especially the non japanese/chinese/korean ones) in their games. Gimme a thailand/philiphine based major char in the next Gears/PD, or any Xbox 1st party games, Phil.
To be honest, I would be quite surprised if Sony does a big general SoP before Geoff Keighleyâs show. If there is anything, it would be a smaller one based around a game lile HFW last year.
Sure, but am not expecting the sequel will sell a lot of copies either way, Alan Wake Ip is not that appealing for many gamers.

2023 REALLY needs to be the year when they start delivering on Matt Bootyâs âgame per quarterâ
I was already expecting at least 3-4 big first party games in 2023, specifically Hellblade, Indiana Jones, Contraband, Avowed. If you add Starfield and Redfall that pretty much makes 6-7 games so I assume something will get pushed back to 2024

I wish Mihoyo would do a regular console game someday. Their next game looks visually so so good, better than Scarlet Nexus, but itâs gonna be on mobile (as well as PC and âconsolesâ) so Iâm most likely not gonna play it. Canât get into gacha, certainly do not want to either.

Bunch of people calling for Spencer to be fired for the transgression of (checks notes) having to wait a few more months for a game. Also i am told that things have gotten worse since Spencer was put in charge. Apparently having less than ten studios is worse than having over 30.

Looks like theyâre focusing on a D&D thing at the moment. Did port DG 2 to switch in 2019 and work on vr versions some according to Wikipedia

The Alan Wake IP is one of the many examples of a game that the core gaming audience âremembers fondlyâ, âlovesâ and âwants a sequelâ and then the sequel comes out and nobody buys it. I am pretty sure too that the sequel will bomb hard, horror for some reason hasnât expanded itâs audience for quite some time and while the budgets are becoming bigger and bigger the sales are not where they should be (considering the growth of the industry).
Oh well, I did my part with the remaster (and really enjoyed my time with it) and Iâll do the same with AW2 when it comes out. I am just happy that we are even getting a sequel at this point. 
Silent Hill was never a huge seller anyway contrary to popular belief. It wouldnât douch, even as an exclusive, to move the needle.
