Just saw the most unique, bizarre and original film in a long time in the cinema theater. Everything everywhere all at Once, is what it’s called.
And strangely enough I just can’t say whether I like it or not. I’ve never had that with a movie before. The concept is extremely cool, some real good stuff in here but I’m not sure I truly enjoyed it.
Blizzard’s new “Diversity Measuring Tool” they’re testing and posting about is one of the most cringeworthy things I’ve ever seen. Holy shit
You don’t need a fucking tool with arbitrary points to help you with this. The tool is so laughable too. Like saying Swedish characters have no culture. They claim it’s to help combat “tokenism”… by applying point values on races and culture.
One of the most corporate American things I’ve ever seen
Well, technically you kinda need it. How do you think diversity reports are created in the first place? There are some metrics regarding that so it makes sense to have a tool for that. Especially for the games like Overwatch with plethora of characters.
Yeah, I don’t understand the need to promote it as a big thing. Especially considering how late it is gonna come on Xbox. I am not even sure if the game is still popular.
Hard for me to get excited about Sega, as much as I love them. Are they more remakes farmed out to indie-ish studios or are we getting something good lol
Did anyone listen to Jez and Rand’s last episode? I like listening to them but if this one’s negative I just don’t have capacity for more negativity, especially not Jez’s possible hot takes (I like the dude but he can have some takes for sure).
Only the first 30 mins, got caught up with something else.
Jez said he’s giving them the benefit of the doubt and that COVID is a real excuse for these developers so he can’t be mad at all at the situation. Made fun of Tassi for his egregious take.
Rand agrees but also acknowledges that you can be totally fine with the delays but also be very disappointed at the lack of 1st party games this year.
They had more to say but I didn’t get to finish it.
Took the words away from me lol. This is something you expect in an RPG not in a real world work place. No doubt someone who has spent too much time studying theories came up with this brillant idea.
