Hm he should clarify how to contact him, maybe should have stated DMs are open. I see some confusion in the replies of some JP Xbox fan accounts I’m familiar with saying they’d like to talk. Don’t think tweet replies are enough to convey all this with the character limit.
He should also get a translator to help with communication on this as I can see some things being lost in communicating in machine translation
This is great news for you. If you divide your backlog based on how many consoles you own, you can give the appearance that you’re “lessening” your backlog. Hehehe. Sorry Mort, sometimes I just can’t pass up the joke. lol
Then I guess next time when Xbox will have a bigger market they won’t be surprised when their next game won’t sell there either despite having a sizeable amount of consoles. But some other game will sell just fine.
Yeah, at the end of the day they’re a business, so I can see why they’ll skip Xbox. However, it’s risky straining relationship with a market segment because losing trust can hurt developers a lot and they may have lost trust with Xbox gamers, which is an emerging market
They have been very positive on Xbox…it shouldn’t be a surprise as to why the VRR PlayStation video is 36 minutes long to anyone who knows how social media works. PlayStation videos generally get more views than Xbox videos so obviously its a smart business decision to make a longer video on a new feature coming to PlayStation at a time where there’s a big drought on new video games coming out.
Something similar to this happened with Rebel Galaxy Outlaw a few years ago. With the first game selling poorly on Xbox along with a lack of developer resources, it was going to skip Xbox while it would release on everything else. Fortunately though they later changed their minds and developed an Xbox version that released alongside PS4 and Switch. They said it was “based on feedback”, so there were most likely a good number of people that convinced the devs enough to release on Xbox.
