Yeah, if it was cross-gen they would’ve said so from the beginning. Plus, this being a new beginning for the series that they’d want to support for many years, it doesn’t make sense to keep it on Xbox One and make the Halo Infinite mistake (imo).

I don’t think Halo Infinite situation was a mistake. Though it would be nice if they dropped Xbox One support.
Every other big game they are releasing going forward is next gen only, dont see the point in FM being an exception

To be clear, I don’t expect it to be coming to the Xbox One either, just found the leak interesting.
This is just a feature test surely, so they needed more people participating in it I guess. I really like the “motorsport” tone of it though.
Once they released they committed to it. It’s hard to drop support like that. Maybe the campaign, but the MP…

Arena and BTB is already 30fps, nevermind a BR that will be much more demanding, plus I dont see it releasing until next year, xbox one will be a decade old next year, time to move on

yeah i look at the thing expecting to see an xb1 in the frame when all i see is a red square pointing something out and this was from a test build from last year probably testing MP features and stuff and there weren’t that many Series S/X for devs at the time to test stuff.

Well they might have changed the idea, but its just easy to try out the codebase on Xbox One when you putting all the settings into potato quality because you don’t need the feedback over the graphics, you want the player response over the gameplay and netcode.

Well, the same formula was selling a lot just fine you know…Open world, a lot of icons etc.
It would be odd to market it as a next gen game but then add an xb1 version when your next gen console is selling better than ever and every other first party title you’re going to release this year and beyond is also next gen only

Had been planning a rewatch of all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and this evening I watched the first one. These movies just stay great really, so fun and enjoyable.
It really makes me wish a proper, top quality game had been made of this franchise. Basically AC Black Flag with the sailing, with its own kind of combat system and of course the licensed characters and voices.
Lego Pirates is fun , no doubt, but man I’d still love a third person action adventure of it.
