There is always a middle ground though. Like Capcom seems to be able to balance both and Sega is slowly doing that with their japanese output (western part has been doing fine).

Where the dev didnāt mention any other platforms but PS?
Rockstar actually has been doing it before the current gen version of GTA 5 came out and also after. I saw tweets by them several times solely mentioning that the game was out for PS5 and it was their own twitter account.
When it comes to third party exclusives for Sony, unless it specifically says something about exclusivity, assume itās coming to xbox/other platforms as well
They loved shouting about exclusivity for FF, Deathloop etc so if you donāt see that in a trailer, assume multiplatform, the fact that the devs have mentioned other platforms before suggests itās just a marketing deal

The original announcement included Xbox and PC. The playstation marketing usually only mentions a single console.

That tend to happen. Itās like you canāt really say itās not coming to Xbox until the show is over. Look at the last SoP. Only one or two were exclusive to PS.

Did they do that before? I mean they was content with their internal studios making the games right? I wonder if Disney would also like to start making their own in-house games - though they are content with licensing them for now.
Pre Arkham Asylum they licensed it out but post Arkham pretty much all WB games were in house.
