Youâve got to love clicks.
I doubt theyâd do it in 1st party, itâs an initiative to help 3rd party f2p games make more money.
Iâve given up, almost every system I use in 2022 has ads in some capacity, but at least just move them somewhere else where they donât ruin the home dashboard screen, oh and two tiles arenât even real ads but social activity or achievement tracking which I donât even care about the slightest and donât benefit anyone really but ruin the home screen and hide make the background almost useless
Yeah, that is fine hehe. You never know where these things end up though if itâs a success.
How much time (and why?) do you spend on the dashboard? Bit weird hehe.
Billboards in Fallout 76 for NordVPN and Dollar shave club
What if itâs compatible with USB disc drives? I see that as a happy compromise when that day eventually comes. Not like Windows doesnât have the drivers and stuff baked in anyway.
To Nintendo I guess?
As if Sony is now going to do only games-services. Interesting logic sir
Honestly personally very little but I still hate it, it totally ruins the look. Sometimes when I go from offline to online those 3 tiles donât show at all for like 3 seconds and the home screen looks so much cooler and cleaner without them and you could actually appreciate the background lol
I believe in Forza it would be fit quite nicely. Or do they already have it? There are banners but I donât remember.
Iâm sure they have ad stuff in 1st party, just not what this system is being built for.
If youâre playing games you wont see the dashboard promotional spotsâŚ
I believe they are trying to automate it somehow right? Like âgame A has some ad spaces, do bidding for themâ etc.
Though mobile games have been having ads for years already and I have been always saying that all the games are going towards mobile direction.
People forgetting Sony trademarked some in game dynamic advertising system not long ago.
I so expected that to be a Crackdown 3 spot with Terry going into his other commercial persona.
Nah I prefer their $70 GAAS with mobile like micro transactions.
But you still have banners on the roads there no?
