Right now, itâs interesting from marketing standpoint. Once acquisition is complete and if what Phil said about giving them chance to work something else does happen, then itâs interesting for us gamers.
This is just a random guess, with their newfound thirst for GaaS games they might get a studio thatâs good at them.
CDPR lines up more with their older cinematic experience views
Yep, but they got a few studios focused on that now, right? Or not a whole lot yet?
How many people care about their OG Xbox disk games at this point? As long as they get their digital copy I highly doubt that there are more than 5-10% of the whole gaming population. Digitization all the way!
Already discussed why canât anybody ask a straight question like âhow big is it in billions for exampleâ or use some scale that we can estimateâŚ
lol
Thereâs plenty of bigger acquisitions out there than KJP but the idea of comparing an Ember Labs to Kojima is beyond laughable
and lets not act like everyone disliked DS even if you did, it won the most GOTY awards in 2019
KJP would be a bigger deal than every studio Sony have bought so far except for Bungie and Insomniac but thatâs only because of Spiderman
Theyâve got a few focused on that yes, but not a lot.
oooooh interesting
The Gematsu article for NMH3 also says it will be on Windows Store so maybe a Game Pass game?
We saw SoS Friends of Mineral Town (also Marvelous) get a Windows Store version too though and that isnât on Game Pass yet so itâs hard to tell.
First trying to raise Gold to $120/yr and now this⌠Can they not just have some success without trying to ruin it? Come on Xbox, hopefully they get enough backlash.
Advertisement in games? UhhâŚ
Has anyone actually read the article?
If itâs something I barely notice then I dont really care
People constantly complain about ads on the dashboard but they havnât bothered me once in the 15 years theyâve been doing it since 360
It depends on how disruptive it is. If itâs that bullshit that NBA 2K and UFC tried to pull where you literally must watch an ad before playing then FUCK the hell off. If itâs in game billboards with real life products on them then this is literally nothing new and has been happening since 360.
I remember Saints Row 2 used to update the in game billboards with real life ads like AXE spray and a Nightmare on Elm Street movie poster.
Five per year.
I did not because it is paywalled.
Personally I donât see it is a big a deal. We already have marketing in some forms in games - except they are mostly fake brands.
Didnât say you were alone, the game was divisive, many people hated it while many people loved it
Plus itâs not like itâs the only game Kojima has made
The whole thing with this is, insiders talk about it, but they donât give the full information on what the rumor is. Greg Miller delayed his show for it, but then it seems nothing happened, and now here we are, lol.
