You know, if PS was kind, they would at least put Babylon’s Fall on PS Now day one to save its dead man walking status.

Thats because the PS3 and earlier are streamed from their DataCenters. Since its running on the old equipment they can’t offer enhancements. They would need to invest heavily in the software engineering realm for a chance at enhancements.

I thought that PS2 were downloadable?

I streamed some Elden Ring (with a few spoilers I very clearly yell “stop watching” closer to the end of the stream) First hour and 45 minutes or so are just the beginning of a new character.

They have some which were wrapped into a Sony Fork / Snapshot of a PS1/2 Emulator, those are the ones that are downloadable for PS4. I never heard anything good about them, but maybe on PS5 they’ll be better. No idea on the number of wrapped PS1/2 gen titles.

I see. But it seems like people are expecting native PS1/PS2/PS3/Vita support with the ability to purchase and download titles :joy:

I beg please

I hope for that too but don’t expect it in the least.

I agree about digital. It will be the most telling in marketing approach.

Spartacus is somehow more boring than i could have imagined. For 16 dollars a month you get PSNOW/PSPLUS, some older games and a few game trials.

PlayStation is truly up its own ass if it plans to use trials for first-party release as a subscription tier incentive. Surely I’m misunderstanding?

Where did you get more details ?

They used to be called demos not so long ago lol.

Already said it before but until Sony have a proper GamePass of their own with their games there Day 1, I have no interest in a PS

Giving me old games on a subscription means nothing when I can already emulate any ps1/2 and psp games I want on my xbox, likely with many more options than these will

Lol they sure liked the article Grubb wrote a few weeks ago, but according to some he’s suddenly a snake oil salesman again.

The problem is that how Sony will market the service. Keep in mind that there is zero Game Pass marketing.

If Sony successfully sell they idea, that Spartacus is their Game Pass, people will assume that Game Pass has nothing but trial games, old games etc.

No one will think this. I think you’re underestimating Gamepass.
