I have a few high 60’s low 70’s that I love but personal favoritism aside, I can easily acknowledge that they’re right where they belong. lol
Of course, it’s currently a 41 on OC with 11 reviews. I can understand a few people loving or hating a game but when the vast majority all say a game is good or bad, they’re usually right. There will always be a minority that feel the opposite but they will always get overruled like me with BOTW. I think it’s a 7/10 at best but the vast majority (like 95% of people) would laugh in my face and rightfully so.
Also Crossfire X is a military shooter. COD AW, COD IW, Battlefield 4 and probably a few others are just way better campaigns and MP despite being multiple years old. Me personally, I was interested in the campaign but nah, im not wasting my time when I have far better games to play.
As for Remedy, yeah, you could say that they’re AAA but at the same time, is Smilegate an AAA publisher? Also, who knows what the budget was for Crossfire X for Remedy? It could have been like $20m. What are they going to do with that?
So I may be harsh here but I want quality, not quantity and even if the entire campaign was on Game Pass for a $10 rental, im still not touching it. lol
Nah I feel you, I think the game was very bad imo as well but I just don’t like saying games shouldn’t be worth touching when someone else might feel the opposite.
Yeah I get the whole in the mind of people, I just don’t know how much it really matters because I’ve not even seen any Nintendo ads or in the streets where I am but they sell amazing. But I guess that is because they have such history, if anything you would think Xbox would be doing Sonys approach because how far behind they are in the public image.
I wonder if they are waiting on marketing big time till all their studios are ready to start pumping out games like next year. They’re not marketing xCloud because it’s not launched, they haven’t really marketed Game Pass yet it is doing quite well through word of mouth. I do think Game Pass marketing will start up big time once they think they’re at the threshold of console users.
I use ad blockers and pay for YouTube premium so I’m not really seeing many ads so for all I know they could be doing tons of ads I’m not actually seeing so there’s that too.
We’ll see what happens with Starfield as this is going to be their biggest game for a very long time, new IP so they’re gonna have to market it big time.
Agreed. I’ll rephrase then - Crossfire X campaign is in no way, shape or form worth downloading let alone playing for me personally. If someone else wants to play it, more power to them.
could be anyone tbh lol, Chris works at the small indie and even individual dev level, so no idea who it can be, and that is before speculating who he personally likes/admires here.
It was only a few months ago that MS hired Netflix’s head of marketing to take on xbox marketing, it’ll take a little time but should be better going forward.
