Yeah and Sony being in the media business for decades more helps with that I feel.
It’s basically like comparing Forza Horizon soundtracks to FIFA or NFS. One is Microsoft which does an alright job at music licensing, but curation is where the real magic is. EA has a whole team dedicated to recognizing and curating the most fire ass music for their games and it shows. Maybe they even have some leverage there due to that history that makes it easier to license music that others might find hard to. Like I’ve seen several artists that got big recently that were already featured in a FIFA game like five years ago or sumn.

Yes, it works. PlayStation is the default console here because of that. They are always, always present. Doesn’t matter if they have a new game or not, they still market their brand. Like most normal companies do.
And when they do have a new game? Oh boy… shit is on another level.
For comparison, Halo launched with a tweet.
A niche game like Deathloop on PS5 got way more marketing than Halo Infinite in France for comparison (from what I’ve seen at least)

Funnily enough, I think they do in this case because they bought Skype from a few devs in Estonia. That’s their only pathway to a country, buying some shit out.

Yeah, HZD has sold 20 million, rather good I’d say.
The combo of Spider-man, Kratos, Nathan Drake and Aloy is pretty powerful.

IMO FH5’s Horizon Pulse is pretty nice, love some tracks from there. And maybe one or two tracks from other channels and that’s it.

Is Crossfire X an AAA title? I think it’s more AA and it’s simply not any good or worth anyone’s time when there’s far better games available to play.

But yeah, I wouldn’t classify it as an AAA game imo but then again Remedy made it.
