According to Miles of Windows Central, the whole part on Martha is Dead that was first claimed was false. What’s more is he doesn’t think the game warranted “censorship” as yes, it is disturbing, but not something you would go out of your way and claim it as Rated X or something way too deep. He played it and find it weird that the censorship even happened.

Sony just likes flexing power over smaller devs. With the anime games stuff they’d force censorship onto character designs that bigger dev’s games like Bandai Namco’s Code Vein were allowed to get away with. Likewise I’m sure this game is not doing anything worse than what is found in Mortal Kombat.
Really? I didn’t know that. What bothers me is how they’re the market leader and people won’t even know that the censorship comes from Sony and not the games. Imagine your friend playing say like Doki Doki and he/she be like “Game is intriguing but man, developers should have kept blood red. Guess they got scared of putting violence.”

Nah Sony censorship is a widely known thing by now they’ve been doing it for close to 5 or so years. Though for a while it was “only” on very niche anime games, so with this it looks like it will only ramp up (which is why I say this shit has to be nipped in the bud or it only gets worse). The issue is the usual fanbase defending it. For Doki Doki I’ve seen the excuse “It made the scene cooler!” And for this game I’ve seen “It was too disturbing!” Even with Nintendo, they took a censor heavy approach during the Wii U days and after enough fan backlash they stopped doing it with the release of the Switch. Now they just say “that’s what the ratings boards are for”, but I don’t trust the usual Sony fanbase to actually complain about something Sony is doing. They accepted $70 games and attack people who think that’s too much after all

That game is a drug, but I got clean haven’t played it since the pandemic hit. It helped that Valve do fuck all to support it properly.

Na valve is worse than rockstar . Atleast rockstar supports and makes content for their games . Valve does fucking nothing . Go to csgo or dota 2 sub reddits , half the posts are begging valve to do literally anything .
