So it will be more like Nintendo Online +Expansion Pack?
If they pull PS Now + PS+ tier into the same $ as GPU, with the lack of marketing for Game Pass, it can decimate Game Pass chances in Europe simply becaus a lot of folks will think it is the same thing but for Playstation even if it doesn’t get the games day 1 as they literally won’t be aware of it due to the lack of marketing!
I am very curious about Spartacus launch content.
According to rumors yes. Basically PS+ stays the same, PS++ will have PS Now, PS+++ will have BC titles. Pricing is a question though. Current PS+ is 10$, PS++ might be 15$, PS++ might be 18$. Also no idea about potential anime subs and so on. And if we include yearly PS+ offerings for 60, if they make it 120$ or 100$ for PS++ it will be very competitive.
Yes, PS have so much clout that it won’t matter that first party games isn’t day 1, it will still be seen as better and they have an army of media and cultists ready to spread that message. The difference in marketing and presence is enormous. PlayStation markets their games, services and the brand itself. Even when they have no new games released.
And you were so annoying, I wouldn’t do it for all that time
So that was your fault!!!
Chris Redfield in Starfield?
It probably would happen at SoP, maybe next month. If it’s a big deal, they will have to make it so and if they do, then maybe they will advertise it like a new console. Otherwise, whatever happen to PSNow before may repeat again. It really depends on how they see the service. One and done or ambition and commitment.
What model did you get?

Here is today’s VoD. First part is finishing up Hitman 1 & I played some Skul: The Hero Slayer which I just reviewed to finish it up.
Missed opportunity for Xbox to jump in I feel. Hopefully if MS was able to convince Marvelous to become an Xbox partner then someday they will be able to convince NIS.
I feel like theyre sloooowly getting there, one publisher at a time. They just recently got Spike Chunsoft onboard too, so the only major holdouts i can think of still are NIS, Falcom (Although NIS publishes for them so its in the same boat), Level-5, and Atlus. Oh and platinum too, when they release independent titles.
Level-5 only releases in Japan lately, to mediocre sales too. Might not be too worth it. For less major / niche stuff, there is also Gust (who is under Koei Tecmo so I would think this shouldn’t be too hard), Compile Heart/Idea Factory (the only game I like from them is Mary Skelter, but there are probably people out there who want this. I think Neptunia is decently popular, It wasn’t for me though. They also used to publish back on the 360, like Marvelous, so there is at least a precedent for them on Xbox), and lesser Bandai Namco ports (with the .hack port for Switch announced for example, Xbox ports should also be added. Hopefully that Gundam game means even lesser Bandai games will be considered now)
NIS/NISA should be a priority for this section though. They publish a ton of games, including Falcom’s. It’d fill the JRPG hole nicely. Right now all we got were some Kickstarter games they published and Disgaea 4 PC on Game Pass day 1, which is approaching 2 years ago now. Even Stadia got the Falcom games so they don’t seem “hard to work with” like Atlus seems to be.
Javy’s ban reason is a little ridiculous. He’s contributed a lot with OT’s like his project thread. I’ve never found him to be a nuisance. Is it a permanent ban? Because that would be ludicrous. What does his ban reasoning even mean?
He got banned? I just saw him earlier today. What happened lol
Yeah if its perma that seems a bit excessive. Even prog in all his progginess has only been sent on a few multi-week forced vacations.
Oh I just saw his BIO. It says Consumed disproportionate amount of staff time. Oh Javy, Javy you silly sausage. But it only says suspended so we’ll probably see him in a few days
I’m not gonna comment on the results but establishing an AAA studio in ME is a big indicator to the size of the market there, Sony invested in the area since the beginning of last gen like I mentioned before, 1st party content nearly fully localized in both sub/dub, PlayStation in everywhere there, all people love the brand and IPs, if Sony announcement PlayStation TV, all people gonna buy it. PlayStation investment pulled Japanese publishers to support the area as well such Square-Enix, Bandai, Capcom … by localize their content, E-Sports events, inviting local gaming media to cover the newest content from them etc
Xbox, well? Yesterday was talking with a friend of mine who knows PlayStation but not Xbox, it’s not the first time actually, I know more will surprise me like him, but let me shock you with his idea about Xbox: Xbox is furniture.
There is no date for his suspension ending, that usually means that it’s a permanent suspension.
