It could happen weeks before E3 or whatever summer event would be. It happened with Horizon, so I can see that happening again. That is if Sony don’t attend one again.
Xbox should have a deepdive for Redfall before E3, would be cool.
Cultural divide is what I was leaning at. The fact KoF is only coming to Series should clue in how they saw the One. All I’m saying is things are different this time around and people can change. If not, then it is what it is. It was like that with Xbox 360 when you start seeing games that were only exclusive to PS coming to it like FF series, DMC, and so on.
But yeah, the Stadia comparison was a bit too much. Lol.
I mean it literally should, given it’s a borderlands like game that’s likely live service, but isn’t f2p (kinda thankful for that tbh, I don’t trust MS and Bethesda with getting that right) and would require enough time to sell itself. I haven’t seen a single multiplayer shooter that’s like “hey here’s gameplay, it’s launching two months from now” that’s been successful. Only Apex did that and that was a F2P Battle Royale game in a world where F2P Battle Royale ruled. Like nah, that kinda game needs more time, more user gaging, etc which is why it shouldn’t be kept for E3, unless of course the game itself gets delayed to 2023 before that. This isn’t one of those games that needs mystery and “I’ll unveil the story and world myself”, so yeah, really hoping we see some gameplay deep dive rather soon-ish.
This is a much better split than a JRPG like FF though. I don’t think we should be worried about Capcom (or WB, though I know it’s not the topic rn).
I don’t need to deal with this first thing in the morning.
X1 exclusion for KOF imo is stupid, they skipped the biggest SKU for a game in a genre already not hugely popular on the platform. If not on GP the game is DOA.
Is it crossplay or not? At least with Windows and Xbox?
crazy
It doesn’t seem so, not even between Xbox and W10 Store, lol.
MS should put it on GP, otherwise is as good as dead considering all the cons (no crossplay, no X1, etc).
It shouldn’t be hard to put it on GP, since the game will be dead otherwise.
It would be also a way to put the spotlight on a FG on Xbox for once.
IMO this is kind of a problem from a third party’s POV for sure lol. Imagine needing to put something on Gamepass for the game to not die on that platform. I’m sure some third parties don’t even bother releasing on Xbox because of that. It’s however definitely strange that it isn’t coming to XB1.
That’s a two-way street, some publisher is culprit as MS if their games have no following on certain platforms.
yeah chicken and egg type beat fr
Yep, skip the platform for a number of games and that happens…
Imagine supporting and respecting the audience like RGG did for Yakuza, lol, how many japanese devs/publisher which still look at Xbox with diffidence can say to have even tried in the past? I’d reckon none, lol. We mostly got random one-offs and maybe nothing else forever because of irrealistic sales expectations.
tbh it did take a long time for RGG/SEGA to do that with Yakuza as well, no thanks to some of the top dogs at the company being super close to Sony and perhaps having several conflicts of interest for a long time lol.
Yeah, well, that’s another issue altogether, I guess there is a similar situation at SE lol, but looking at it only from a professional perspective, many studios didn’t even try for real (trying for real =/ putting one random game and nothing more), so blaming Xbox audience (like some fanboy do) is beyond stupid. I can agree MS should push more, but that’s also another issue. XD
People: what game are you revisiting in 2022?
Me:
lol
No joke, this is one of the best pokemon fan games.
