anyways going forward I expect every moster hunter coming day one on switch. exclusive or not
I donāt know man, Japanese publishers are weird in this regard, I think Iām better off expecting that anything is possible.
I think Rise is Switchās last MH, because Iām expecting MHW2 to be far away enough that Switch 2 will be out. I think Capcom will squeeze the game onto that.
If MHW2 can run on Switch 2 then Sony moneyhat is impossible. Iād be more worried about Nintendo moneyhatting it 
MHW2 would not be a game that works on the Switch even if they wanted. I think they can get comfortable with a PC/PS/Xbox āmainā release and another Siwtch/PC release.

Well the the next switch will be out until then and I can totally see it beeing there day one
Also, even with MHW1, the best Sony could do is Asia exclusivity (it was PS exclusive in Asia) and marketing rights, and that was before the game massively blew up. It would be a lot harder for Sony to do it now that itās a global phenomenon.

A Switch 2 or Pro would still not play a AAA MHW2 designed for PC/PS5/XS, MHW barely runs well on XB1.
Well expect MHW2 to be made in a way it can run on a second switch. Monster Hunter does not need state of the art graphics

an xbox MH clone is probably cheaper in the long run when the new MH comes out and is really expensive to put on GP and will probably not stay that long and the slim chance of money hatted MH
I would like to keep Xbox Live, but yeah, Gold can go. But imagine, if they do remove Gold for free online and around that time, CoD is now Xbox. āGod help us allā is what Azure will be saying.

I think itās a smart idea, Capcom is not that reliable with Xbox releases honestly. Maybe they can make an even better game than the original, it wouldnāt be the first time.
Iāve yet to see a MH clone that ādoes itā for me (God Eater, Dauntless being the ones Iāve played) so weāll see about this game. The clones always just miss a certain something.

Concerning MHW1, in an interview with Giant Bomb Phil and Jeff talked about getting Japanese games onto Xbox. Phil said he had talked to Capcom himself about making sure the game released on Xbox.

I saw it at the time and honestly itās not a great look that Phil himself had to pull his weight to avoid another SFV. AKA Capcom is not a reliable partner imo, looking at RE8 situation, the rumours about a new KI and a MH clone are the right calls to not rely too much on usual questionable choiches from japanese publishers.

If thereās any game I want on Xbox itās SFVI. I donāt like having to worry whether itāll be exclusive again or not. But if it is iāll just get over it like I did V.

I can see MS-Capcom relationships being damaged if they pull another SFV thing, it would be like the stance chosen by SE, not really friendly with the platform. Because those games skip because of moneyhats, not because they donāt make money, far from it.
Only Square is taking Sony moneyhat like Scooby Snacks. Hard to say with Capcom aside from preventing big title to be on game pass. SFV was funded by them, so I canāt really count it for now.
