AND the game isn’t a full exclusive.

Its a remake by a studio that has worked on star wars stuff since like the early 2000’s and are getting Sony’s help.

The Sony move shows they are willing to pay and keep third party games off xbox again. Thats the terrible thing here.
They were willing to pay for Starfield for christ sake.

Sure, it’s one move here, another move there it’ll keep happening and it’ll pile up, hopefully though, from both sides.
I hate this, but it’s the name of the game and I hope Xbox starts playing it ASAP.
It was KOTOR now, tomorrow it might be a franchise you love and it’ll hurt, I know how I felt when SFV got bought… This isn’t a big move but it hurts a lot of things that aren’t really apparent at first.
I make a summoning circle every day to keep Cacpom out of this…

I said in the statement its not on KOTORs level in what you replied to. But it’s also a timed exclusive wrpg from a series that sold multimillions. It’s an example of Xbox also using 3rd parties to strengthen their lineup in this area.
I’m a cheap ass, so I’m taking Day 1 Game Pass deals over timed exclusives if it’s an option.
I’ll take a Day 365 Game Pass deal.

As long as it’s on Xbox I’m fine, the problem is when big releases are taken from us for who knows how long.
Yeah I don’t like the Sony/Square shit. Either make it exclusive or don’t and let people know when it’s coming.

Stalker 2 is only exclusive for 3 months while Sony buys indefinite exclusivity for their deals. Sony is trying to keep every major game off Xbox and may have already gotten Bioshock and other big games timed as well
