XboxEra Community Hangout |OT5| Season of the Infinite.. Arguments

There will definitely be a good amount of Star Wars games coming out in the next half decade -

  1. Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order 2
  2. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake
  3. Star Wars open world game developed by Massive, published by Ubisoft
  4. Star Wars Eclipse developed by Quantic Dream

Am I missing any? Excluding the Lego games. I’m hyped for all four games.

Wont be called this actually

Also EA has another game but people dont know what it is.

I know. But im expecting it to be the same type of game. Melee combat focused, lite version of Souls.

Hoping it’s a Jedi Fallen Order type game but with shooting combat instead of melee. No interest in Squadrons or Battlefront.

IF JFO 2 makes 2022 I will be very happy because Fallen Order I think was my game of the year in 2019.

I can’t REMEMBER what came out in 2019, but JFO was close and great.

That’s probably why.

I know that people will be upset, but guess what, Xbox will somehow manage to survive if a frickin KOTOR remake never comes to the platform. Phil is not going to be sitting in his recliner. hitting the sauce, forlorn if the game never makes it over.

Waste of 200 million plus for Sony then. That’s the lower limit on what that’ll cost. If they try to keep it off other platforms too the cost goes up from there.

At the same time Xbox could really pay something like 75 million to get the game on their platform and drop the fee and instantly have a more attractive offer than 200 million from Sony.

The doubt of this one being fully exclusive is very high. Sony needs that money for funding their own games, studios and expanding.

How is it a waste if it sells them ps5 consoles and the game sells super well if its great? I dont get this forum at times.

Of course they will be fine. Not saying the sky is falling. However, I’m probably going to set the forums aflame after this but perhaps we need a reality check. That list of great third party exclusives on the original Xbox is not that long. We had some good ones but most were straight trash. KOTOR arguably is the best, and Sony Strategically took it off the board. That’s an “L” in my book

Because those assets could be invested more wisely. I don’t see that many people choosing to get a ps5 for that game.

Its a star wars game and a remake of one of the most revered rpg’s of all time. What are you talking about.

$200 Millions ? man the game itself probably won’t reach $100M and it’s a remake not full blowing game from scratch. so it won’t take much time. sony would pay for xbox version and that it.

Let’s be real, the first game is a cult classic. It’s not an immensely well known game that draws in millions and is the reason to choose a console. 0
