I dont need a first party game every quarter but Id like Game Pass to be bold, big and aggresibe and not give me the “game pass games” template.

I’d rather they offer Bamco a bag with a disgusting amount of money for Elden Ring.
Can’t imagine Xbox not having tried this, but who knows truly how much Bamco asks for it.
On top of that stuff, more games will get their release dates. There’s like 25 games dated 2022 without their release date yet.
The 3rd party is also strong and will give Xbox players a lot to do over the first 6 months. Dying Light 2, Elden Ring, Strangers of Paradise, Rainbow 6 Extraction, Evil Dead and Vampire the masquerade.
Looking through the months January, February are busy, April has STALKER 2. The loneliest months are March and May so if they need to add something, that’s where.
I do suspect EA will add Mass Effect LE and Battlefield 2042 to the Vault in the next 6 months too
What would you prefer we talk about? Has something else happened in the Xbox community the past few days that we’re abjectly skipping over?

Yeah at $60 price points. Why cant half of these go to game pass if the billion dollar warchest is true?
Mass Effect LE would be awesome to have. We had that one picture, that seemed like a sign. I say start January strong with that game on it

A lot of games drop their release date outside big events. There is likely to be an indie showcase between now and June too.
March and September last year held them, I’d count on another one.
Most of the projects we have in the Project thread ARENT Indie games.

I’m not anticipating more 1st party games outside maybe full release for Grounded and As Dusk Falls. I’m anticipating other gamepass games that are slated for 2022 but haven’t been dated yet.
An example would be Warhammer 40k Dark tide.
I will never stop believing in a Spring Showcase for Xbox where we see Grounded 1.0, Goldeneye, FH5 DLC 1, Halo Infinite DLC, and As Dusk Falls with some Redfall thrown in.

I could’ve swore that Dark Tide is already a GP title, did they not formally announce that?

Then i think we can trust that, dude has given us so much correct stuff by now. For all we know MS has went to every pub you can imagine but they just don’t feel good (yet) about dropping big stuff on there day and date or very soon after.
Starfield I expect is going to increase sub numbers bigtime, maybe they are waiting on seeing bigger sub numbers, I don’t know. But if MS tries and pubs don’t bite, not much they can do about it I guess.
best I can do is a 6 hour stream with influencers with some indies sprinkled in, take it or leave it.
