XboxEra Community Hangout |OT5| Season of the Infinite.. Arguments

They need Day 1 Games that are huge brand household names.

Elden Ring and Dying Light 2 are basically that.

The only other most anticipated games coming out in the 1st Half of 2022 are all Sony 1st Party Games.

Everything else is kind of lesser so to speak.

I think the stripping of non-polished gamemodes like Coop and Forge, versus the narrative plans and systems to add in more content to the ship-ready campaign mode are handled by different teams doing different things. Getting forge to work versus adding in another mission are completely different projects on different scales. Makes me at least hopeful that they can give us one while trying to make the other

Once again

Pick 2 from here.

Just looking at some immediate 2022 for stuff I could see on game pass that makes sense

  • Siege Extraction - Already a $40 launch
  • Crossfire X - This not being day 1 is a miss imo
  • King of Fighters - Go pay for it and get it and be serious about Japanese games
  • Strangers of Paradise - Go and Pay for it if you have Billions for the same reason above.

No reason any of these above shouldn’t hit game pass.

they’ll get MLB again and the rest of the world outside US and maybe some baseball nuts in Europe will sleep through it.

This forum isn’t very interesting when the same people have the same endless conversation 5x a week.

This is the best time to be an Xbox gamer in my lifetime and you’d think we were in 2016 based on these conversations

Well Proven sorry for talking about it considering its caused by The Grubb article that isnt 30 minutes old which highlights the issue.

New year, same thing.

Luckily I’m not here often enough to be part of the “same people” bucket. :beers:

Yeah, a truly big game is what GP needs more of, more often. But the problem is…it’s not Elden Ring, not Dying Light 2, so maybe something announced at E3 and releasing later in the year?

Hopefully we’ll get to a point where devs are comfortable with dropping a brand new game on release day on it or a month or two three after it…more often. Hope we get there.

The Grubb article didn’t say anything though

right now they can but don’t expect it anytime soon they are giving the team a rest.

end of 2022 or first half of 2023 i expect Halo SP dlc. as for MP it would continue as planned with seasons

It’s possible to still be excited for the future and still note that six months without a major 1st party release is still suboptimal for momentum and a subscription based ecosystem.

We get it, Xbox doesn’t have a first party game for 5 or 6 months. Go play something else or have more constructive conversations that isn’t just talking in circles about something that won’t change.

Literally said Goldeneye should be a “holdover” till June along with Grounded 1.0 and stalker 2.

But nobody is talking about the lack of first party to cover that time period. We are talking about xbox should be making BIG moves on GP to cover this.

It’s also possible that this article provided no new information on H1 Game Pass games. Acting like no information is confirmation of a lack of games really just shows me how much some of you guys like to sit around here and complain.

Yes that’s been said 35 times. Why are we acting like this topic is new ?

Unironically this should happen. It’s time Xbox got a Team Ninja game on anything xbox related lmao
