You know, I don’t understand the hunger of remake on PS side. I can only last with Dead Space. Asking for Silent Hill and Metal Gear and Bloodborne and The Last of Us is a bit too much. Maybe one or two though the first two are third-party and they want it for bragging rights. It’s like no one wants original. I guess that’s why you don’t get easy hype like a new game from an existing franchise from PS1 era, unlike Avowed.

I absolutely do not understand the desire for a Bloodborne one or why Sony thought it would be fine to do a third version of the first TLOU again.

Its a remake of the first game why would they make it open world. That just seems odd to me from the rumors and what we got today.

…ctibles like docs which help out flesh out the lore.
Its very Sam Lake, cool story beats in the game. The scenario is constantly changing. Lots of potential here.
The demo build was about six hours.
Stealthy/infiltration missions like going through vents, gameplay variety.
Classic Max Payne en Control stuff like weird dream world things.
Remedy’s DNA is all over this.
Destructible cover, but he wishes there was more.
Time slowdown mechanic.
Visually to me it looks a little underwhelming, it being Remedy I don’t know, I expect more. But all the above sounds promising in my opinion.
But it sounds like the game won’t be crazy short or anything if the GI was able to spent six hours with just the demo. Sure he took his time, but still with a linear shooter that’s saying something.
This is gonna be the first game I buy in febuary. Anything from Remedy is gold

SH and MG are wishful thinking, they are not Sony games also. XD
Bloodborne and TLOU only need proper pc ports and that’s it, the latter was already remastered and the former is not that different from the new Elden Ring, from stuff is not really technically top notch.

Why would they remake it and be open world. I reckon they will just do a modern update on it and ship it.
I dont think Ubisoft is gonna risk alienating people with this and are gonna use it to gauge interest in the series.
Honestly, Hitman inspired? That could work!!!

major cap if you mean Bloodborne is not that different from Elden Ring. But technically, their games could definitely be much better.
Technically-wise, not aestethic-wise. Elden Ring looks exactly as DS3 open world, with the same bullcrap optimisation on Xbox. XD

At this point I’m expecting some kind of NFT in this game.

Well, even though a Hitman approach could work(is that even open world though? Not really…) Keeping it as it was is the best way. Interesting!
If this becomes a big hit maybe they’ll make a new one?

“the very first time that we really understood we had a hit was when we were talking to Microsoft. We had that gut feeling but it wasn’t validated by anything, and we hadn’t had a hit at Ubisoft before, at least this big. When Microsoft came to us and looked at it, they knew something was up too, and they were considering it for their E3 showcase for showing off their Xbox.”
this would be really good aggressive move if it was exclusive but anyway good thing the game is back

Hitman is not open world at all tbh. Very level based, and you tackle the same level in multiple ways and from different directions, but the levels themselves are relatively small and tightly designed.

I mean, open-world is not bad in itself, but Ubisoft is a major culprit in transforming the open world template in a checklikst template. XD
