This was my take as well. I figured Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey would be 1-2. I guess having Akira Toriyama do the art is what led to Blue Dragonās success, not Sakaguchi.

The excitement around Xbox and the games that have released these last few months has been amazing and itās only just starting, Halo getting great previews which seems like itās shaping up to be awesome. Straight after that we have TGA where Xbox is probably showing big there too which is gonna build up on this hype even more. All those years of pain for Xbox has been worth the pay off.

I donāt know about that, but having your game up for $6.50USD is certainly going to increase sales. Look at Mario Kart for example which hit 38m sales, yet still $70.

Because Nintendo doesnt devalue their products its part of their policy. Anyway I cant believe we are thinking Sony sells millions upon millions thanks to these sales.

Iām not saying they only sell millions of games because of the sales please donāt put words in my mouth, Iām just saying that selling the game for $9 would help, how much I donāt know. I did have another look at sales and the game was $39.99AUD in July 2018 which is about $28USD, which wasnāt long after launch.
Always been that way. I remember people saying GT rivals Halo lol back in the day. Only the thing is Halo sells millions out the gate, at full price, whilst most Sony exclusives sell when they are dirt cheap
TLoU 2 was on sale for $19USD in Dec 2020 6 months after launch, I just find it interesting how quickly it some of their games can drop. It does make me think maybe they wonāt do a day 1 Game Pass deal but maybe a 6-12 month delay since they tend to drop the prices massively by then in some titles.

Forza Horizon is the only Xbox exclusive that retains its price for long and gets very little discounts.
