Nintendo just sold out Genesis and N64 controllers for $50 a piece each in 2021 but they need game pass or sum like that on their console for god knows what.

Nothing that will benefit xbox gamers that for sure which is why I wouldn’t put anything behind that.

You’re conflating the two as connected to each other. Why would NSO pricing have anything to do with a game pass streaming sub? $10 a month to play Xbox games through streaming on a switch does not have to be tied to Nintendo’s terrible online service.

A price hike to 50 bucks just screams “something bigger is coming” that’s not just Majora’s Mask N64 and Streets of Rage 2 + Animal Crossing DLC.
At 50 bucks maybe more, N64, GEN, GBC, and xCloud as one tier (maybe GPU subscribers also get NSO online as well) seems like an easier sell in the future than just N64 + Gen.

Also that Animal Cross direct was insane.
Biggest content update since launch + DLC. Brand new game practically.
Between finishing AC and having Sora in Smash, and an amazing new Metroid game, Nintendo’s on a real “Never Ask Us For Anything Ever Again” kick, and I’m here for it.

Watching a new video of Guardians of the Galaxy and I just don’t know man. Ever since its reveal earlier this year it looked like something that just won’t turn out too great. Don’t know how else to put it. Some things look nice though and it’s the studio behind some of the best games out there, so I hope for the best.
