Every forum has this issue where someone will flag a post for a variety of reasons. Our forums let users see when they’ve been flagged which creates the perception that it’s a problem.

People should always feel free to flag. They should know though that if their percentage drops on accepted ones that we see it. Some people have 90% approved flags, some have 40%. It also matters on if something is instantly hidden or not depending on who flagged it. Flags themselves do not lead to heavy moderation. Some might just be a quick DM about “hey try not to say something like that”, or something more severe could be a warning/silencing. Any type of ban is always discussed by the mod team.

PlayStation getting acquired by these companies will give them huge financial budget and probably you won’t see any marvel game hitting xbox if Disney get them
I think you make a great point. But remember, the moderators are people too. And we (well, speaking for myself here 
) aren’t perfect.
We’re always in a balancing act between giving users the most possible freedom to discuss whatever they want and creating a nice atmosphere for everyone. I’m sure we’ve made plenty of mistakes and will in the future. And I also have no problem with users telling us that, so thank you.
Now, all of us should play some Age of Empires like I did, cuz I’m completely relaxed and heading to some tennis practice.

Yes, thanks for understanding, I do understand that no one is perfect and I won’t demand that from anyone, If I make a mistake everyone here can tell me.
They’ve done it before and that’s alright, just felt disrespected and that’s all.
And yes, AoE4 looks and plays great, hopefully it’s a beginning for the revival of the genre.

“Toxic behavior”? Really? It’s a forum about plastic toys, and light interactive entertainment. I wouldn’t call whining about corporate decisions toxic. Is it repetitive and a little boring? Yeah? But toxic?

Doubtful Disney has no interest in making games that’s why they license it but Amazon or tencent completely different story
Gamers like to whine. Shit like this will happen every few months, when there’s a slow news cycle.
Excusing nonstop whining by saying “gamers whine” isn’t really a good argument.
And the fact is most people on here aren’t like this. It’s the same small group.

I don’t see any insults, slurs, racism, homo and transphobia flying around on this forum. It’s toys and entertainment forum. If few people whine about corporate decisions, it’s not the end of the world. Especially if, some tweets from so called insiders generate thousands of posts in the acquisition thread
Gotta say that now playing CoD beta with brother and friend it’s definitely more fun, compared to when I was solo yesterday.
But I can’t help but wonder how long that fun will last.
For some reason they messed up the audio in this, the volume is crazy low, I have my headset at max and it’s still not loud enough, lol.

The japanese government would never allow this. Not to mention neither Tencent nor Amazon or Disney would buy the whole package when they only want SIE. And Sony would never sell their most profitable division.

Yeah, that’s the thing, BF could be really great. But I will definitely first play the open beta and/or the version on EA Play via Game Pass.
Last year when we played the Cold War beta we enjoyed it too, but didn’t buy it and in hindsight I’m glad we didn’t.

That’s the thing though right? If someone wanted to whine about Xbox, then that’s already common place on literally every other platform. One of the goals for a forum like this is to let people discuss Xbox, their games, etc without having to constantly battle the negativity these topics usually drown in.
That doesn’t mean you can’t criticize Xbox, or Halo, or Microsoft etc, of course it doesn’t. Of course you can and plenty of people here do. It’s when conversations are derailed, or people remain stubborn/thick headed, or when it gets toxic, that’s when it becomes a problem.
This is just an example (and not one I’ve seen here), but comments even similar to “Man, 343 really sucks” etc are useless and add nothing to the conversation.

In other more pleasent and exciting news, I put my IT knowledge to use and switched over my entertainment center to fully Wired after installing hubs and switches.
Spent the day doing cable management which wasn’t so bad with some music going.
Had some of the things like Switch and PS4 Pro and Smart TV on Wifi because I barely used them, but decided to bite the bullet. Everything is now fully wired.
