I don’t really think we should underestimate Sony. I mean even without Bethesda’s purchase we were one step away from Starfield time exclusivity (at least for 1 year). That would make almost 3 years of output from Bethesda locked from Xbox.
The amount of moneyhats for the first 2-3 years is insane this gen.
So I found a account on Twitter that I thought was quite interesting. This person posts screenshots of existing and upcoming games, one is from PS and the other is Xbox. They are meant as comparison pictures, but he’s not doing this in a console warry way or intention. It really shows the strengths of these studios. But what’s cool is that he uses pictures that contain similar content. Check em out!

If you’re talking about the rumor from r/fanboywishlists - sorry, r/gamingleaksandrumors, it’s automatically fake because not only did he get the RE game’s name wrong, he also said Sony is fully funding Dragon’s Dogma 2. Why would the Capcom leaks not mention this, and also mention an Xbox version, if Sony was “fully funding” it?
I don’t underestimate Sony at all, I’m one of the advocates here for a more proactive MS answer to these moves (aka buying another publisher to scare off Sony doing it again), but I really can’t see Capcom bending so much, RE8 would have been timed as well.

I don’t like comparisons with GT simply because it is a photomode while in Forza it is not. GT7 just doesn’t look like it in game, while Forza literally does.
