… I confess I only wanted to make a joke with the company’s name, but everyone in here seems to be purer than me But I am honestly a fan of AA games and I am really looking forward to this event. About Dumbuster, they became responsible for Dead Island 2 since 2019. Fishlabs is working on Chorus. Flying Wild Hog is working on Shadow Warrior 3 and Evil West. Milestone is working on Hot Wheels Unleashed. All those games are supposed to be released this year. The only wild cards are Volition (Saints Row V?) and Warhorse (Kingdom Come sequel?).

Would XboxEra want a thread where we all vote in polls about E3 predictions? Would set it up like an EZA betting special ideally. I’m willing to make one if I can figure out the best format and get some input on the questions.

Fwiw, it seems InXile, Double Fine, Undead Labs and Playground took on new Xbox branded websites (XGS logo at the bottom, copyright notice) while Compulsion, Ninja Theory, all of Zenimax and Obsidian maintain their existing stuff.

Not a huge surprise except maybe Double Fine and Compulsion, as for the most part the growth studios and former second parties seem to be pushing their connection to Xbox while the studios with strong, longlasting fanbases and reps have deservedly opted to show that things are the same but better.

Fwiw, I like Obsidian’s website. It’s dated but it has character.

I think Ninja Theory had a major website revamp as well.

But yeah lol, Obsidian’s website looks so entrenched in early 2000s Blogspot design lol, shall exist as a monument to that era.

There are massive inks with the IP involved. MS trys to avoid much marketing because of licence reason.

the problem is xbox doesnt own the IP. Im not completly sure how exectly it was but it does complicate things

Nah, they simply don’t advertize properly even their own games, I doubt they’d bother for a third party indie, they only happen to own the videogame license of Battletech/Mechwarrior IP, not the full rights.

It’s a holiday in the US, so don’t think Xbox will put anything out today
