T2 is already doing in NBA2K.
If you donât watch TV - TV is coming for you
Call of Duty menu is literally a giant ad
You appear to care, haha.
Let people have their takes, who cares.
I do cause Im a dead space fan and I want more games.
This âthey bringing back a franchise they killedâ thing is nonsense.
Fya
Skippable cutscenesâŚ
This game was graphically subpar even when it originally released, I donât understand these lame almost 1:1 ports at full price, but the community asks for them, soâŚ
Ill never understand why people appear to enjoy putting up with Nintendoâs behavior
Sorry, I donât understand what do you mean (literally). XD
the community cheers for them like seals and if you complain âyou arent gratefulâ
Nice, the more we get from him the better. Rockstar makes the best games and I hope he can bring that magic to more games.
Selling the same game over and over for full price with minor updates
The power of nostalgia.
Ah ok, thanks for the explanation. Anyway, yeah, for example MS remade classic Halos one time and then they will move forwards MCC forever. Nintendo remasters are at best minor efforts (for example even H3, ODST, Reach and H4 4K ports are better endeavours, H1 and 2 completely remade are off charts in comparison), their fan retention power is incredible.
This might be the dictionary definition for the word âgameâ.
EA Hate is such an odd phenomenon
While I get and even agree with some of it. Their coorporate bullshit, especially with their sports franchises can be loathsome. Though not too different than other publishers that get less crap, to no attention at all for it. And not as bad as others like Activision/Blizzard, who get crap, but often not enough, IMO
I feel like at this point, when it comes to a lot of gaming media and streamer types, it just feels like âthe thing youâre supposed to doâ regarding EA. And itâs an easy way to get approval, even if youâre just someone tweeting, posting in forums, or a youtube or IGN comment section. Itâs easy cred. The problem with that though is it can lead to some really dumb takes and extremely unfair, or at least unchartitable reactions from people about anything related to EA
Remember when DICE almost, but didnât impliment that awful upgrade, RNG loot system for Battlefront 2? First, it was good they got the shit they did, which made them never actually go through with it. But then what happened? People still swore off the game for a long time, some forever, even thought it didnât have the thing they swore off it for. Many still mention it, like it did indeed happen and hold it against DICE and EA
And remember when a Bioware dev said they were changing the camera angle for one scene of Mass Effect 2, in the legendary edition, because it weirdly focused on Mirandaâs butt during what was supposed to be a serious conversation she had with Shepard? And the internet exploded for weeks with articles and videos about how they are censoring the game and shrinking her ass, or refusing to show it anymore in all her cut scenes
Now part of that was just for the fact that the internet is full of dishonest assholes and making content that rails against anything you can categorize as being censorship, or feminist snowflakism is one of the more profitible grifts there is right now. But it would not have become the thing it was if EA was not involved. It had that added benefit of easy internet cred
Now is that what Jez is doing now? No, not to that degree, but I feel it all comes from the same source. EA is a slow moving, easy as hell target. Whether your critique, or shade is deserved, or not. Youâre going to get much more people parroting and appauding, than actually pushing back in any way
about 20 minutes and Iâll be live. Chill music/countdown timer video is up and chat is live!
Just yesterday I saw someone on ResetEra talk about SW BF2 having loot boxes and such things that ruined the game. That thing didnt even make it to the game at release.
