Sony is the Apple of consoles, they’ll make you pay for everything if given the chance.

I feel it in my bones that this’ll become true.

So no Sony event?

The funny thing is that this is probably Sony trying to be consumer-friendly, since they would normally release the DLC as an standalone game and charge $40 for it.

Or they have so much to show that they announce gaming updates like GoT and Death Stranding before the show.

Dont really think this dlc will be as big as people think it is and if its anything like base Tsushima its more of the boring repetitive thing.

-saying this as someone who gave Tsushima like 20 hours and got so bored that I went back to finish Assassins Creed Odyssey which I had dropped twice by that point.

The bigger thing for me here isn’t the 10 dollar ps5 upgrade, but the fact “ghost of ikishima” ended up an expansion and not the standalone “miles morales” type game some were rumoring. Fully makes it seem what sony may have for the rest of the year outside of relying on third party content is Horizon (if it makes it this year) , and at this point likely some more “director’s cuts” of last year’s line up?

I don’t think it’ll matter. People are starving for new Ghost of Tsushima content

I mean they updated the game to 60fps already for free. No comparison to Sea of Thieves of course, but no need to condemn this to much. It’s 30$ dlc if you will, that’s not out of the ordinary

So Shpeshal Ed was wrong?

Not saying it wont matter but I dont think this is a Miles Morales/Lost Legacy type of thing like people were saying.

Not out of the ordinary? How many $30 DLCs are out there?

The Witcher’s Blood and Wine was $20, for example.

The main problem here is charging $10 for the upgrade

Lose money you say… Are you by any chance referring to my post?

If not, then my bad.

I mean the fact there was an Ikishima dlc at all tells me he and likely others heard about it, it’s often easy when you get info for some of the detaiils to not be fully correct. But that’s less the point to me than I thought a standalone game ala miles would have bolstered their holiday/fall line up more and in a way that would have been received better. And now I fully expect the line up this rest of the year to be idk, Ghost Director’s Cut, The Last of US Factions, Horizon Forbidden West, if we’re lucky.

Dead Space will follow the RE2 Remake style.

It’s a remake/reboot, using the original game’s story while adding stuff from 2 and 3 as well as improving gameplay mechanics.

That’s what he said ?

Yep! People should share a clip of it pretty soon on Twitter
