I legit have no reason to go to the office to do any of my work. Hope companies revaluate all this going forward.
Yea the world has changed forever after all this
I just fear that upper management want people in office due to power dynamic in previous workplace structure
What say you fussy britches?!
Feel like talkin?
Nahā¦I guess your source didnāt text back an okay
Damn, I completely missed this.
Great results.
Iām not stupid⦠lol. Fully aware that you canāt force developers into gamepassā¦
Itās just that Xbox dedicated a entire portion of the extended showcase to the game, clear involvement in marketing⦠you would think theyād be going to all this trouble if was actually launching on gamepass⦠but it isnāt.
Itās not like the IP is a battlefield or far cry, itās a borderline AA from Japan.
I think we are beginning to develop an expectation that things hit Game Pass. I am sure MS will continue to have typical marketing deals.
Having Bandai Namco there adds some (arguably) much needed diversity to the showcase.
So was Code Vein and it sold 1 million before Game Pass lol. Some stuff doesnt need game pass and just takes the after benefits when added to the service later.
Realistically, how many of those sales were actually on Xboxā¦
Must have been a decent amount if Bandai was confident enough to take a heavy Xbox marketing deal on Scarlet Nexus.
I played the Ys IX demo on Steam with my very aged rig, and was pleasently surprised I was getting 1080p mostly 60fps on the default settings (Medium, there wasnāt much settings to even tinker with though).
Itās a damn shame that this is coming to the god damn Stadia and not Xbox though. Iād like to play it at 4K locked 60 (PS5 runs it like this). I know Google paid for the port but I was really hoping that would mean Xbox would pay for a port too, seeing as NISA would definitely be up for it if they did it for Stadia.
NISAās relationship with Xbox is very confusing to me. They put Disgaea 4 PC on Game Pass day 1, making me think that meant something more, but then they havenāt done anything since. (excluding R-type, which was a Kickstarter game with Xbox as a stretch goal, so they were obligated to publish it on Xbox)
Edit: Also something weird, every once in a blue moon, NISA will announce a game coming to Xbox, only for them to cancel that version only. It happened with RPG Maker MV on Xbox One, and Clan of Champions on Xbox 360. I wonder why that is?
Canāt help but notice IGN has been showing their asses quite a bit when it comes to Xbox as of late. Not that Iām surprised but they arenāt even trying to hide it now.
I strongly feel that ID@Xbox needs a full time outlet in Japan. A lot of these negotiations are just ego-boosting these devs at regular intervals. This is difficult to do offline, but with a branch dedicated to indies full time, this is surely possible.
There is a line in the sand, and I hope and pray that IGN higher ups understand that such random behaviour by a few employees are risking their business overall. It is risking the jobs of their Xbox coverage division with vets like Ryan etc. (Btw, we all have varying opinions about Ryan, but he is one of the few handful remaining vets of any significance there.)
Fewer Xbox folks will want to visit IGN. And this can lead to churn there.
It is alright for a random PS site to have behaviour like this, but not a site like IGN.
Also, Xbox has allowed IGN to re-stream their events as is. Imagine - waking up one fine day and seeing Greeny simply say - Keighley or Gamespot only has the rights to re-stream. And they stop passing rights to IGN.
At the end of the day, this is not a playstation site, and xbox coverage contributes to their bread and butter too. Media businesses are hard to run, and Xbox communities are demonstrating that they donāt need the mainstream gaming media sites like Kinda Funny, IGN or Gamespot. IGN losing the graces of the Xbox community will have serious ramifications eventually.
still canāt find a SeriesX
The creativity with the GIFs is through the roof.
I know everyone shits on this season of True detective. But the final scenes were shot amazingly. Also sorry friend, I thought there were a bunch out there the other day?
Kinda Funny is a good case study of the changing āmediaā perception of Xbox. From its inception it was basically a Playstation outlet with a smattering of Nintendo coverage/support. Then less than a year ago they started Xcast. Now SnowBike Mike, Gary Whitta, and Paris are showing up all over the site and even Greg and Tim routinely have good things to say about Xbox.
